This is absolutely insane how much thrust does it produce?
ОтветитьHoly ...! Did the building move to the next county?
ОтветитьThese colors don't run!
ОтветитьThat's hot.
ОтветитьYour future goal engine will allow for easier and/or cheaper space access?
ОтветитьWow
Ответитьgood.
ОтветитьAre there any similarities between this precooler tech and the british Skylon/SABRE precooler tech? (That Darpa tested several years ago)
ОтветитьI'll be in my bunk....
ОтветитьAnd THIS is why Hermeus is better than Skunkworks. Iron bird to it’s functional engine in 3 months…
Edit: i forgot they just reworked an old engine
This is why the Whiplash is good
ОтветитьIt would be nice if you put some metrics on screen
Ответитьwhat’s the precooler composition? trust me, i won’t tell 😏
ОтветитьNumbers
ОтветитьWill it fit in a miata?
ОтветитьDid anyone else read/watch this and think... I saw this movie... And heard the Darkstar theme from Top Gun Maverick? :) Thanks for sharing!
ОтветитьI like it, where can I buy one
ОтветитьOne of the few compnies that actually seem to deliever what they claim
ОтветитьCan you add live metrics please?
ОтветитьWhich F100 variant is this, -229 / -220? As a former Eagle Keeper, the sweet satisfaction knowing the beating heart of the airborne beast is breaking new ground is a truly beautiful thing.
Ответитьmommy?
ОтветитьAdmit it guys and girls at Hermeus, you have secretly been inspired by the 1994 movie Stargate!
Why else would you build a portal like that?
No ramjet transition? 😢
ОтветитьIm 50. I saw the Eastern and PaAm tails disappear from MIA while i was at poweplant tech school. Did not go into the career.
Now THIS!!!!!!! I FARCKING LOVE IT! even turned lights off. Sweet.
The future is awesome if we get our shit together.
Ooh baby! Take me to the top of the world.
Ответитьsomeone needs to go paint an apostrophe between the N and T in "DONT" under the flag
ОтветитьIs the F100 just a test mule for your precooler, or will your final engine be a variant of the F100?
ОтветитьIt would be great to have a narrative explaining why this test is important; otherwise it looks like a vanilla maintenance run of an F-100.
Ответитьdamn that looks so awesome
ОтветитьMore testing
ОтветитьPowerful
ОтветитьI'm jealous, you guys are playing with the best toys.
Ответитьnot gonna lie, that gave me half a chubby.
ОтветитьSweet
ОтветитьThat video gave me a man-gasm!
ОтветитьMy Anus in the morning after eating spicy food previous night
ОтветитьHell yeah !
ОтветитьDoesn't the filter mesh hinder its breathing?
ОтветитьWhat will the passenger experience be when this thing pitches or yaws in flight? If Hermeus must slow down before maneuvering to save passenger lives, how long will a comfortable deceleration take, and therefore what part of its flight profile will actually be hypersonic? Why will Hermeus be economically viable with fewer passengers and payload when Concord, when Concord could carry more passengers and payload ?
ОтветитьSo awesome
ОтветитьChimera with diamonds, a beautiful thing. Reminds me of the P&W J58s which currently hold the record you are looking to break. Best of luck to you guys and gals, lets see what Quarterhorse and Darkhorse can do!!!
ОтветитьI thought Hermeus was using a newer version of the J85? Perhaps that was MK.1 and Mk.2 is switching to the F100? Either way, I am excited to see progress! Lets get a test-flight livestream in the books! ;)
ОтветитьNice, no stall when bringing back the power..
ОтветитьThe F100 is the same engine that powers the Lockheed Martin F-16 Fighting Falcons used by the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds. It also powered the McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagle and F-15E Strike Eagle. A proven engine in every sense.
ОтветитьThis is why America number one in the world at everything
ОтветитьThats a spicey vacuum cleaner from idle around the horn nice
ОтветитьGoosebumps
ОтветитьKeep up the good work....
😎🇦🇺👍
Need one for the neighbors
ОтветитьHoly CRAP!!! Depending on where that's aimed, you're causing our planet to spin FASTER, or SLOWER!!!
