I felt the same way with tiling managers the first time I used them . From It's barebones default look and lack of settings and etc. Once you learn to rice it, it starts to look better and act better. Key-bindings opens your most frequently used programs. Right now, I am using i3 and dwm. Another cool feature is setting up your own status bar to show information most important to you.
ОтветитьOpenbox kind of has a settings app.
ОтветитьI didn't expect that. You said you were going to do later.
ОтветитьYou should also check out "Scrollable" window managers later, they seem like a cool interesting idea.
I've had a similar keyboard issue when i was using Ubuntu with i3. I wansn't able to set the layout to spanish specifically as the latinamerican variant. And I eventually figured out that the Input Method Framework Ubuntu uses was overwritting the layout preference every time i log in, so I've uninstalled it lol. The ArchWiki articles related to keyboard configuration helped me.
And btw, can you get me an TL;DR of how to set light/night theme system-wide? Im new and kind of lost at the rice thing xD
