Any video that talks about how to create a better mana base is so helpful to me, but also causes so much stress lololol
ОтветитьThis video should be renamed “commander for babies“
ОтветитьAdding an untapped land for the algorithm
ОтветитьYay!
ОтветитьYeee-Haaw
ОтветитьThanks for the awesome video!
ОтветитьDanke.
ОтветитьI can't set my mind on a single specific theme/color.....so I made a 5 color sisay deck, now I get to use the best from every color lol
ОтветитьSo what's the general concept you start with 7 cards to start throw down a land and a creature leaving you five cards at the end of your turn do you draw back up to 7 ?
ОтветитьThanks for the tips Professor.
Ответитьgood job as always prof
ОтветитьVery nice guide prof, I’m personally a little confused as a new player to some of the land stuff mentioned, but I think I understand well enough. Hope y’all having an awesome day today dudes!
Ответить"All games of Magic: the Gathering must come to an end" … There is a man in Hawaii who would like to have a word with you.
ОтветитьI have been playing 10 years this guide helps my newer players alot
ОтветитьOther good lands for budget 4/5 color are the Vivid Lands and the Thriving lands, as you can pick what color they produce based of what you need. Much better than guidegates in 3+ color decks
ОтветитьThank you for all the info prof!
ОтветитьWin conditions? Ha. Ha. How about pillow fort derevi where the whole deck is exile removal, pillow fort cards such as propaganda effects, and field wipes. Be the only person with a creature in play all the time and even if your opponents play a creature they have to pay oodles of mana to even attack you. Win conditions? Penny punch people for 30 turns with derevi. Make them know pain.
ОтветитьWhat if white has been deemed "unplayable"?
ОтветитьNo love for Reckless Spite and Ashes to Ashes? I'd take 5 damage for a 2-for-1 any day!
Ответить👍
ОтветитьI will win every game now
ОтветитьWe need more thorough deck building guides. I see people make pretty bad mistakes when deck building. I saw a toski in the 99 of a deck that only had 10 creatures... When the commander was Uro why not play a draw spell thats more impactful like Rishkars expertise?
ОтветитьGreat vid prof!
ОтветитьThanks prof! I have a hard time balancing the mana value of my cards 😅
Ответитьi like playing second sun because it effectively straps a timer bomb onto my chest and then it becomes the "take out tree froggy in 7 turns" show
Ответитьthat thumbs up "good job" really sent a warmth through me
ОтветитьOnly Prof could somehow make begging for more views/likes/comments so wholesome.
ОтветитьMe, who already runs a highly optimized Yuriko Deck:
Hmmmm… Fascinating
Basic lands are Tier 0 magic. Unbeatable.
ОтветитьAppreciate the recommendations!
ОтветитьI'll watch another one of your videos right now ;)
ОтветитьFolks remember if playing cEDH don't focus on mass removal unless it is cyclonic rift as they don't really have creatures as it is a battle on the stack with a few combat based decks done such as Najeela. And combat decks in cEDH are usually fringe with Najeela beating them
ОтветитьGreat video as always professor!
ОтветитьI love you too, prof.
ОтветитьAh, prof, our local game shops would laugh at us if we tried to buy Exotic Orchards with “half-pennies”: it’s pronounced like “hape-knee”!
ОтветитьGood info thx
ОтветитьAlways love your videos ☺️
ОтветитьExcuse me, did you not mention Ruinous Ultimatum?
ОтветитьLove you too Prof 💜
Ответить100 singleton format? Sure, but then why are so many games ended by T3 or earlier? cEDH is leaking into regular EDH and I can't count the number of games I've played where...
I never really got to play at all. T1: drop land, maybe play a spell or cheap artifact. T2: drop land and ramp or play something small. T3: drop land, play my commander or get 1-2 creatures into play. T4: never got a turn four.
Personally, I don't think a 4 player EDH game should end before turn 10.
Very well done video
ОтветитьI was send here by request from the professor from this future... to watch another video instead of leaving a 'for the algorithm' comment, i just picked a video, so you will likely have to subtract one view from this video yourself when evaluating content engagement. This was a service message for your convenience... though do note, i wouldn't mind more Commander content on this channel
ОтветитьSince parts of the video emphasized that taplands should almost always produce 3+ colors, I wanted to add that the heartiest recommendation I can give for a two-color tapland is the scrylands (all called "Temple of..." and printed in the Theros sets; can be selected by searching "is:scryland" on Scryfall). The scry effect is really nice in commander, especially on early turns when you're not set up to draw more yet.
Ответитьlove
ОтветитьCan always count on the Prof to make videos that I now don't have to explain certain concepts to newer players! I use your land videos all the time as I know how I want my mana bases, but I struggle to explain things to a newer player. Magic gets complex and even the basics can be a bit of a battle to explain so having these as a option or choice is great.
Ответить“Approach of the Second Sun may not sound ideal to you…”
Me playing Zedruu: “Oh…uh…yeah totally. Who would want to win THAT way?” 😂
I always enjoy my classes with the Prof. Merging informative & fun is no easy task, but it is greatly appreciated.
ОтветитьIs this satire? I'm genuinely asking considering I've never seen you win a game of edh
ОтветитьTruth.
