ОтветитьI was this close to go to one of your old videos to ask for another sit-down video. I've missed these!
Ответитьshort answer - yes its all part of a massive fraud industry tryign to prop up pokemon as a secure asset like a stock or bond. be smart and only buy WHAT YOU WANT
ОтветитьWe need weekly videos. I've watched every video multiple times now.. we are thirty for knowledge man haha
ОтветитьPublic video 😦🔥
ОтветитьYou mean upcharges not chargeback?
ОтветитьI feel like we need more videos mate
ОтветитьSoggy bottoms!! 🤣🤣
ОтветитьLove the videos Scott. Always love to hear your thoughts on things. Keep up the good work.
ОтветитьThumbail is too good
ОтветитьWhat is a chargeback for grading? Do you mean upcharges if they determine card is above certain value?
ОтветитьYou and TCAgaming are the best and most knowledgeable in the business. 😎✌️👍
ОтветитьI wish you would have defined “more strict” and “chargebacks” as they pertain to grading companies
ОтветитьNobody wants a soggy bottom😂
ОтветитьI'd invest in pristine and gem mint graded cards, but I would never send in cards to get graded in hopes of a fair shake. The world just doesn't work that way
ОтветитьWe must take away PSA's market share so they become less strict again
ОтветитьThey absolutely do control the pop. I have sent in absolutely pristine cards to PSA and I’ve even had other experienced dealers look the cards over and said they were 10’s… only for the grades to come back as 8’s.
I also have seen many cards in my submissions come back with dinged corners that I know for a fact were perfect when sent in. The people they are hiring and handling our cards are likely not careful with our cards. 🤦🏻♂️🥹
Short answer, no
ОтветитьI think they may also have an incentive to control the gem mint 10 population of certain cards at certain times. The more gem mint 10's, theoretically the lower the value of a card and the less they get paid to grade it and for insurance. Seems like at times they just will not give a gem mint 10 for certain cards and other times they will allow for the same card in the same condition. Also could be inconsistencies among graders of course.
Ответитьyes Scott
ОтветитьAs if you’re still on form to this degree, not even a single shred of pretence or bullshit despite sitting on a goldmine. This is someone who truly cares for the hobby.
ОтветитьI fundamentally disagree with grading companies charging more for cards of a higher value. For your average collector it's unaffordable and essentially forces the sale of the card to pay for the grading, making collecting slab collecting impossible for some collectors.
There are some companies that don't.
I still think there is room in the grading world for one company to address all the issues with grading and overcome the competition. Though they probably would never dethrone PSA as an industry standard just because collectors won't want to redo their slab collections because of uniformity and prior commitment to PSA as a collector.
But if someone could come along and just make all the premium services like sub grades or point scores on cards just baseline and actually detect card care alteration, then I think that company could actually begin to move towards being an industry standard.
Some of the companies pop reports are terrible and are an absolute jumbled mess.
I know TAG assigns a finger print to every card so they can detect resubmissions of the same card, which in theory could help with thefts but also making more accurate population reports. But only to a certain extent, because cards that are cracked and submitted to another company, unless informed, the grading company has no idea.
I would almost want to see a regulating body governing grading companies and to impose standards on them. One being they all have to share a card macro surface "fingerprint" data base, so they then can accurately adjust pop reports.
There should never be an up-charge to begin with or self-assessment. Absolutely opens the door to manipulation.
ОтветитьThis is why you don't only use PSA. It centralizes too much power. Only give business to those who actually give the best service. If you've got a company that gives actual, true grades, then it will be the best bet. Imo, a full report as to WHY you got a certain grade is a must. It's 2024 people.
ОтветитьBCCG and KSA still existing in Canada - RIP Canadian graders lol
ОтветитьI feel due to PSA’s dominance its also slacking off in terms of handling cards and overall grades.
Ive gotten countless cards return dams damaged and in no way or shape like they were when i sent them, not to mention the mind games they play. Ex. Me sending a 3 stage evolution pokemon all pack fresh and getting grades like 10/9/8 in that order and sequential which feels like a lame prank by the grader.
Could you do a Grading Companies tier list? Checking from the States, Japan, Down Under and the and EU.
Ars Grading from Japan looks good enough but I don't really know
what baffles me the most is that i was able to compare a few times 2 black labels side by side of the same card, and EVERYTIME, both cards were different. so wich one is the perfect one XD?
ОтветитьOhh, god Is That a White DOT… NOOOOOO!!!!!!!! lol
Ответитьjust USE BGS ;0
ОтветитьDamn, I'm all caught up. Thank you can't wait for more Pokémon wisdom.
