Which one did you like the best? Which one was the worst? WERE YOU WEARING HEADPHONES??
ОтветитьI got my solocast last week, and yes it did pick up lots of rumbling and shock from the table. I paid an extra 15$ (I got the solocast for 30) for a mic stand set that came with a shock mount. Doesn't pick up any rumbling or shock anymore. I love how convenient it is
Ответитьin 2 days my razer sairen is coming! got it for 20 bucks 😶🌫 hope it's good
ОтветитьMan can there be a little bit more credit to the Hyperx Solocast, I have one with a boom arm and shockmount and it sounds amazing, can you please make a video just for the hyperx mic lol
ОтветитьAwesome thanks 😊
Ответитьive had the hyper x solocast for over a year now and your one wasn't defected at all i have several different filters just to make it sound half decent and i have the microphone level down to 11% this is the worst microphone ive ever brought
Ответитьlol I just bought the razer seiren mini cuz my rode nt usb broke. Legit great mic, especially for $40 on amazon.
Ответитьim currently using the Maono PM461TR RGB, which i bought for like $20 (500,000 Vietnamese Dong, equivalent to $20) and it sounds incredible for the price. Never went back to my gaming headset mic again
ОтветитьThis is not a good review, you modifeid the sound for the razer so it sounds less "canny"! All other videos i've seen of it, it sounds really bad. Better when close to the mouth, but still less good than other Fifine and Hyper X. Blue yeti is even worse than the razer.
ОтветитьOoh, I want the pink one.
ОтветитьI have a hyperx solocast that i got in a pack with a hyperx headset I bought for my sister. I will say that the rumbling noises are definitely something that microphone has an issue with. yours isn't defective. I will say however that if you use a background software like krisp audio. it fixes all of it's problems at least to a great extent and the microphone can be used just like any other. I did recently upgrade to the quadcast which is much better.
Ответитьim only in the beginning, but if you listen to the siren mini close up, then go back towards the beginning of the video, it sounds pretty identical to whatever mic he's using to record this video. pretty nice quality actually. will edit if one sounds better.
Ответитьwhats the name of the arm for the mic?
the mic stand you using
Scrolled through Razer website page, It says Seiren mini have built-in shockmount.
ОтветитьI really dislike the stand, shape, and cheapness of the Snowball.
The Seiren Mini is more compact and great for people with less desk space.
Speaking from experience the Snowball can wear badly over time. The plastic holding the legs up can just break with one harsh wrong move.
The Snowball also has a very annoying red LED on the top (certain ones atleast) which can get annoying in a dark room. I had to electrical tape the light to make it tolerable at night.
The Snowball also completely butchers the tone, depth, and fullness of my voice. I have never had any problems with it picking up background noise. Although in this video you can clearly hear the Snowball is picking up the keyboard more than the Seiren.
Personally, the Snowball is overpriced and I felt that way from the moment I bought it years ago.
Great video thank you guys so much
Ответитьwow never thought I would consider a Snowball but I think I will have to get that instead of shelling out for a Blue Yeti X
ОтветитьBlue > Razer (crispy highs)
Fifine > Razer
HyperX ? Razer
The solocast had the same rumbling on someone else's video too.
ОтветитьLove my Snowball Ice. I've had it for a few years. Though, I strongly recommend mounting the sucker. Tripod is handy and all, but depending on how tall you want it to stand, the weight of the mic does make it very easy to knock over. Also... Shock mount, if you can help it. Otherwise, try to have a surface separate from the one you're using as the place it's mounted just to lessen the chance of any bumps of your desk getting picked up on the mic.
ОтветитьThe Fifine is $50 in my country and it never goes below that price. When it was $30 it wasn't even available here, and when it finally was available in Amazon it was like $70. I don't think it's worth it over the others which are cheaper.
ОтветитьFound this so useful! I decided to buy the Razer Seiren for streaming and I've been super happy. Cheers guys 👍
ОтветитьDid he just call us chat at the end? He's got the platforms mixed up xD
Thanks Harris and Ryan I always have a blast watching you.
Razer tic tac really looks good
ОтветитьYou can hear your own voice actually, if you’re using a computer or laptop.
Right click speaker symbol at the bottom right of your screen > Open Sound Settings > Find Input > Device Properties > Find “Related Settings: Additional Device Properties” on the left side of the window > click it > listen > tick listen to this device on > playback through device should be set to default or whatever you want to listen to your mic through > enjoy!
Got a Snowball for sale 5-6 years ago and it is still going strong.
Very good for casual use. The only downside (for me, at least) is that its shape was REALLY awkward to store during the few trips i decided to take it with me.
Ended up just putting it in the middle of my shirts.
I loved fifine the most though sounds like those podcast shure with those lows.
ОтветитьGood tests guys! Thanks
ОтветитьI bought a blue yeti exactly 357 days ago
And broke it about 2 weeks ago
Tried recording a song with it today and realised lol
Anyway imma pick one of these up today or tomorrow
And not another yeti cause I used the 4 pickup patterns a total of 0 times
Meaning i only used the carotoid heart shaped one
Lmaooo
Seeua
This guy really said sample Rate doesn't matter?!?!
Hahaha how very musleading
I picked up the Hyper X solocast in a streamer bundle with the Cloud core headset on clearance at Best Buy for $60. I can confirm that table bumps and even the keys from my Blackwidow Chroma are not heard whatsoever on this mic. The mic base literally touches my keyboard and I dont even use push to talk in discord and nothing except for my loud and clear voice is heard in the call. The mic is roughly a foot to a foot and a half from my mouth and just inches in front of the keys on my keyboard.
ОтветитьI like the fifine you said it was metal and cheap 😂😅
ОтветитьYou call this a review? Go away and learn something about scientific method.
ОтветитьHyperx solocast is rlly like that its so sensitive and its so annoying
ОтветитьIf someone didnt want to use digital EQ's for usb mics is there an external EQ setup like they have for XLR mics for USB mics?
Ответитьgotta check out the samson go mic for less than 40 its amazing IMO
Ответитьthe misleading part is that these days many microphones rely on software optimization to filter out noises, but it remains nice to see what we get out of the box.
ОтветитьWho cares about not having an headphone jack on any of these not that you really wanna listen to ya self anyway and if you wanna well just use an relay or Voice meter
ОтветитьIdk where Fifine 5150 and i give up man i'll just stick with my basically eletric broken mic forever
ОтветитьStanding ovation to you brother... 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 The way you've compared the microphones is just amazing...really enjoyed this... 😘😘😘💚💞
ОтветитьWhen I think budget, I think more like $20-30 max. The $50 ones are pretty much perfect for most cases, imo. Not sure why you would go for anything more expensive unless you have money to burn or you're recording music.
Ответитьput them in the description next time please
ОтветитьCan I please have a link to purchase the microphone stand you have? - I'm getting the razer mini microphone after watching this video
ОтветитьWHERE DID U GET UR STAND
ОтветитьFifine sounded best for me
Ответитьcheck out the sudotack st-800 or st-900 these budget usb mics would easily beat all the other budget mics
ОтветитьThis is really helpful, thank you!
Ответитьholy shit the quality and then info in this video are just awesome, tyvm
ОтветитьI like the blue snowball ice most
Ответить
