Vtubers Must Be Stopped

TBH V-Tubers can be fine and they're pretty neat as a concept. Basically, it's taking "playing a character" to a whole different level and honestly, it opens a lot of roads for aspiring content creators that value their privacy or just aren't secure enough to show their face, yet an avatar can make the interaction with their viewers much "livelier". But of course, same as IRL content creators and just about anything, there's a dark, cringy side about it, which you just witnessed; some of them are willing to go MAD FAR with their "UwU i'm a real life adorable anime character, please love me" act, and honestly, can't even blame them for it, because that sells a shit-ton and attracts a bunch of new fans (we know there's braindead fans everywhere). But out there in the V-Tuber World, there honestly can be pretty great content creators out there like Ironmouse, Zentreya, Filian, and some otheres, that are genuinely entertaining without having to constantly put up cringy acts or contantly "seduce" their fans.

Thing is, at Miku concerts there is most times a live band on stage. Sure, there is a panel with a character dancing but people are cheering for the live performers. The experience is just so much more worth it taking into consideration the effort of the musicians and the skill that goes into setting up the hologram and the light show than just displaying a stiff vtuber on an lcd screen.

I personally don't consume any Vtuber content, but as long as they or their followers don't act like shit around others on the internet I think it's just their little (or bigger) bubble to enjoy, no matter how stupid and braindead it may appear sometimes.
I see absolutely no problem with that.
Tho I totally understand that their ubiquity can be really annoying for some, by the end no one is forced to actively watch them.

"Vtuber concerts" - shows Vocaloid.
For those who don't know Vocaloid is a voice generating program usually used for songs. Anyone can buy a license and use a Vocaloid to generate vocals for songs. It is not a person. And since most famous vocaloids is from Japan, this programs have a mascot/idol/character. This what Hatsune Miku is.
Vtubers on the other end is a person who streams using a model. Model usually copy their movements by using some sort of tracking - webcam, iphone, or VR. This is just your regular streamer but facecam is replaced by model.
