Is it worth upgrading from the 4 to the 5 and he said no… I say yes to get rid of that big a** gap.

I was seriously considering the Z fold 5 a few weeks ago when upgrading. The biggest problems for me are still how delicate the inner screen is, the bad battery life, and the lack of top end features from the Ultra line.

Instead, i just upgraded to the S23 Ultra and couldn't be happier. Maybe in a few years, foldables will be top of the line like it should.

Okay. But can I hook a wireless mouse up to my computer and remote view my desktop with this thing.

I am urging anyone who wish to purchase Samsung Fold phones, especially their Fold 5 phones to seriously consider it. I had purchase the Fold 3 on 1st November 2021 and Fold 4 about 2 months ago. My fold 4 has broke down with the Wi-Fi buttons greyed out and I do not have Wi-Fi connection. THis is after an update of the UI. My Fold 3 broke down on the last day of warranty which is on 31st Oct 2022 and it broke down again on 25th June 2023. Once again, the Wi-Fi button. To those who thinks -Wi-Fi button is down is a small matter, let me share with you what I have to go thru. I am not able to backup my chat history in some of the 3rd communication app and in my course of work, such chat history is important. Not to mention reactivating all the apps from my banks, government services, etc ... I did it once in June and after 2 months later. What make it worse is that Samsung has told me that it will take 1 to 2 weeks for the repair subject availability of the stocks. Samsung avoided my question on why it happen after an update of the UI. They have also avoided the facts that I am using mobile data to send messages even when I am at home. ( I work mostly at home.) If you are willing to go thru the situation that I am going thru now, by all means , you can proceed to buy a fold phone and have the experience of being serve by the worse custoer service you will ever get.

Samsung, please add app to count the number of foldings from the first day of phone usage. My Fold4's screen schacked after 9 months of use. Shame, Samsung, Shame. Pay 2k euros for mobile phone and screen is cracked less than a year... And BTW, screen change costs about 800 euros. A real disappointment and frustration, Samsung... 🤦

Bulky? Hardly the weight has come down substantially. I compared my S21 Ultra to the Fold 5, it is smaller in length and width. So far I am impressed!

These reviews have gotten ridiculous. First, do we really look at our pictures, and when we do, is it quality or memories we're looking for? At this stage, how much can these cameras improve? They've got us hooked to our devices.

Which phone wont get hot as fast when playing phone games? Zfold 5 or s23 ultra? I would assume the zfold5 becsuse its larger and has more room for heat to disperse?

Compare to the Samsung s22 ultra camera how do they compare?? The s22 has a amazing 100 zoom does this do the same

I love the Z Fold 5. Too much emphasis placed on cameras. I don't use my phone for professional photography. It takes great pictures of family events and other things that I might need to use a camera for in a "point and shoot" sense. The recent for a foldable is to use the phone as a tablet. As a software architect, I'm able to troubleshoot my code when I'm away from my computer and I don't have to carry a tablet around with me.
I'm able to watch a videos and enjoy a large screen for GPS and other things.
The fact that the new hinge makes the phone fold flat. Solves only problem I had with the Z Fold4, it wouldnt fit in my phone holders. Now it fits just fine problem solved. Faster processor, longer battery life, better hinge. I traded my S23 Ultra for this. I paid $700 and I'm very happy..

Im keeping my ZF3. Replacing it with Samsung care only costs me $99 and im sure eventually ill end up getting a 4 model.

im thinking of upgrading from an iphone 12 pro, honestly iphones have become so bland, nothing new nothing exciting and my battery on good use only last about 4 hours.

Is there an internal seal in the hinge? I had the Samsung Z Fold 2, dust particles sheltered through the gap and damaged the backlight if the large screen, although Vodafone app stated my warranty was valid until the end if my 3 year Evo contract (April 27th 2024) they sent the mobile back to me unreparied, stating it was out of warranty. Alot of money to spend on a mobile when the phone company doesn't honor the agreement.

long time Samsung note user here and then I transitioned to the s22 ultra which I'm still using. I decided against upgrading to s23 ultra because there weren't significant improvements from s22 ultra.

with the z fold 5 however, I was interested enough to pre-ordered one which it hasn't been dispatched, and after watching many related videos, I may just return it once it arrives because I just don't it is a better phone than my s22 ultra. yes the folding and unfolding into a tablet factor is very cool, but overall functionality just doesn't seem to be much superior than my s22 ultra.

I'm upgrading from a LG V30 to Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 or Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 what would you do?

As an iphone user ( or sheep) i do admire Samsungs efforts in creating and improving these fold models.
I have tried them all… my daughter works for Samsung…& the major fault i find is the internal screens.. one fingernail the wrong way and you have it on ur screen forever sadly. Great video, thanks!

I just got my z fold 5 today. It's so cool. It's my first fold.

I feel this review is aimed more at the people with the Z Fold 4. Which is a shame as it's the first video I've clicked to watch about this phone. And on that, the primary reason was the crease, is it visible? Can you feel it? Does it make any difference? Does it affect performance? Etc. Nothing about it which is a shame and a waste of time watching this. Thanks anyway.

Tired of phone reviews that ignore the actual phone and office use features, instead of looks and camera.

Definitely worth the upgrade. The hinge, longer battery life and snapdragon 8 Gen 2 seals the deal for me.

I think its so much better than a minor upgrade. Fold 5 is great!

And this year too I’ll wait for next year Lol ahahah there’s no way I am gonna spend this money for a phone that is basically a z fold 3, I appreciate that it closes flat but there are no other improvements and I still don’t understand why Samsung keeps putting those cameras on this phone, shouldn’t it be the top of the range? Because the price for sure is the top of the range!

I have the fold 3. And I really want to get the fold 5. My fold 3 right now isn't opening all the way anymore, and I have some minor cracks on my opened display. I can't wait to get the fold 5. Definitely a big upgrade from the fold 3

Oh, yeah, it's my favorite time of year! Galaxy Time! My Fold5 will be here in 3 LOOONG DAYS! My Flip5 won't be here for another 2 weeks, I ordered the Grey, about 1 day later than I ordered the Fold5! I was really thinking hard about it! No MATTE FINISH, IM OUT! LOOKING FORWARD TO YOUR COMPARISON OF THE PIXEL & FOLD5!!
