Recently completed a foundling only playthrough and I can honestly say it's extremely fun

Crazy thing Is I found Teil's shell and was in awe!😯 This is my type of play style fast dodge strike get in and out thats the Ninja Gaiden of Mortal Shell!

Its not easy mode, you have not alot of stamina and not alot of determination

It's not hard mode it's asian mode.

Easy mode was Tiel for me. Smallest health bar, but has the best evasions. You almost can't get hit. Plus enormous stamina bar means you can continuously evade

I bought this game the day I heard about it releasing just to put some faith into a new game. I hadn’t done any research and for all I know, it could’ve been complete trash. I absolutely LOVE the art direction of the game. Every enemy is unique, and from where I’m standing in a forgotten crypt, the enemies only get creepier. I really wish further content is added into the game. There’s a vacant resting place with candles around it making it the 5th out of the 4 shell coffins. It would definitely be awesome if there was a DLC that added a new shell and a dungeon or another region to delve into.

Looks like I whinged too early about the main bosses being too easy. I unwittingly chose the easiest mode! Haha

i heard on reddit that AFTER you defeated the enslaved grisha you can still get back to the previous section by rolling/jumping on a specific angle at the broken staircase but couldn't pull it off and i cant find a video on this ...

maybe you can help me out :D

I beat the game with Tiel, I think this is a really fun game with great ideas.
But is really short hope they make some dlc and maybe a 2nd one

Easy mode IMO is exactly what you're likely to start with: Harros with the Hallowed Sword.

Just completed my no-shell run using mostly the Hallowed Sword but switched to Hammer and Chisel for the final boss.
PSA: The obsidian run also counts as a no-shell run for the trophies.

Gotta tell you. This game is not worth it atm. Especially if you dont have the best gen console, frames go bad later on

Beat the game but im having a tough time beating it on obsidian mode.

Those ornate tokens definitely help though.

This game is such a gem, I platinumed it a couple of days ago and then kept playing through for fun. I played through with each shell and stuck with one weapon for each, from worst to best - Solomon & Smoldering Mace, (still fun though, the heavy weapon art is great), Tiel & Martyrs Blade, (My favourite weapon and Tiel is very unique with his poison healing and poison abilities, also the only shell with enough stamina to use the Martyr's well). No Shell & Sword or Martyrs blade, (so much stamina, it's godlike once you know the game). Eredrim & Hammer and Chisel, (The light weapon art just shreds bosses and Eredrim trades with his big health pool, plus the hammer and chisel don't consume much stamina, so perfect for Eredrim). Harros & Hallowed Sword, (Good ol' reliable, the best overall shell and weapon, everything is balanced with this combo, you miss the stagger of the Marty's Blade when maining the sword, but the stamina consumption is too high for Harros and the Sword smashes bosses with it's light weapon art). Hope that helps some folks.

Game is really fun. Harden mechanic makes the game much more approachable and forgiving for new players.

I have the Heavy armor, but I also use the Martyr blade because I wanted to test myself on stamina management. Either way I somehow manage not to get hit. I just like the way it looks for the most part 😂😂

Guys...i have a question.....i have seen this game and i liked the graphics ,the combat system,lightning ..etc.....it is really good game.....but there is one thing is so confusing for me.....HOW SUCH HIGH DETAILED GAME HAS SUCH SMALL GB SIZE????!!!!....It is a bit less than 4GB......i could not even believe when i saw that info,and i feel a little disappointed.....is there any one can explain this??
