The Hunter exotic that never gets enough credit is Sixth Coyote. Think of any ability/aspect/fragment or class ability activated by dodging. Now double that. Load up on Class Ability mods & fragments and you can triple the effect. It's good for every subclass. Void turns you into a stealth rez machine. Arc/Solar/Stasis builds can get you an infinite melee/dodge recharge loop, and Strand gets you eternal suspension.

i have a small gripe with sunbracers, even though it was my favorite for like, my entire time playing the game since chosen.
now if ONE player has sunbracers and does all the ad clear but doesn't have ammo spawning mods, he is basically not making any ammo for anyone and is just wasting potential ammo gains just to clear the room quicker, which i need to remind people, that its bad.
like sunbracers wasn't good because it had unlimited grenades, but because all you had to do is get a charged melee kill to get it going, but now? melee scorch FB is needed to start the thing which is Pretty annoying at times, and makes it so the gaunts don't activate half the time, especially when you NEED THEM to activate.

which is why, i went from well-lock (basically the only subclass worth playing anymore with how USELESS everything else on warlock is), to titan and hunter mixed play, because hunters look good when you add actual color to them and not just vanta black, and because titans have the same ability regen as warlocks, but their exotics aren't situational and have their place.

ok so, as a hunter that loves Errianna's Vow, Lucky pants is THE BEST. a 600%-ish damage boost and a free anti-barrier. And Spine is so fun with a gunpowder gamble build, just toss everything.

I mostly play hunter so I cannot judge your rankings there (though they seem rather accurate). I think you should have replaced Foetracer with the new un-nerfed Renewal Grasps. I personally dislike them for being somewhat boring but they are undoubtedly really good with all that damage resist.

If I could buff 1 exotic in the game it'd 100% be Arthrys's Embrace. One of the most fun exotics but it is really held back by being somewhat difficult to use and the massive damage increase not working against bosses (I have 300k throwing knives and a dream).

Why do so many people have trouble say gyrfalcon's hauberk (Gir - fal - cons - haul - berk)

Personally I’d swap cuirass w strongholds. With strand you can run it w BoW and WM, with Solar you can spec into restoration to improve its uptime and keep yourself alive longer and with void you can use an overshield/volatile mix and with all of these you just won’t die. Arc just doesn’t do it for me anymore as far as anything difficult

hunter easy choice is gonna be frosteez, if your camping on a hunter and not in endgame content sorry but your playing it wrong lol and this helps all ability regen regardless of subclass

and for titans not sure it needs saying but surely you havent forgotten about precious scars, ik ik seems dumb except for the 30% heal when you get a kill with anything natching your subclass, or get strong overshields and 50% DR from rez (you or a fireteam member) put it on voud and you have pure infinite health, grenades, volatile rounds, you boys might be sleeping on it.

also a few honorable mentions for all classes, skullfort, mask of the quiet one, pheonix cradle(Yup FR)

raiden flux, mothkeepers and shards of galanor(definitely still retarded broken in mayhem btw and yes nezzys for warlock used to do the same titans the onle class missing one that does that, im a titan main ive tried everything lol)

lets not forget here the most commonly used warlock exotic transversive steps, followed by necrotic grip(granted yes needs osteo to shine but that on strand is busted without osteo or thorn strand unravel darts and poison that stack dmg and trigger eachother is pretty broken especially for ad clear, and final one here which all my palpatine mains got a little offended by this one not being mentioned, crown of tempests, the regen is insane on this thing, if you can cycle your abilitys which is made ridiculously easy with this thing go try it if you havent before the vexcal mission works phenominally btw, you can cycle abilities stupidly fast, have constant rift and aplified arc souls, practically infinite grenades(pulse works best obvi) and heres the real kicker everyone forgets, yes it regens super energy for your arc supers and makes stormtrance last longer, what people dont often realise and i found this out way back in forsaken and used it to spam chaos reach in gambit like a dragon ball weeb, it also regens chaos reach even faster than it regens stormtrance, and you can easily make a build where the only difference mod is it switches your helm and legs out deck the mods the same for the swap out pieces and boom you can insta slap geomags on or just not, up to you but definitely recommend any and all of these exotics.

ps mask on the quiet one will semi randomly just regen your abilities on kills and also if your under 30% health or in the red any kill can fully heal and give you a short lasting but strong af overshield, idk the DR thay shield gets but ive tanked 2 overload champs gunning at me point blank in a GM so its pretty damn strong when it procs. have had it proc once in pvp survived a goldengun who had to shoot 4 times to kill me, that was in a 2v2 and none of us had internet issues, the overshield is stupid good.

one small thing he didn't mention is if you use the sunbracers and stack on the fragment thay extends buffs with kills and slap on phoenix dive you can have infinite radiant and restoration x2 while spamming grenades and melee, pair that with armor charge and you have extra stats, along with weapon damage and class ability regen, not thay you'll need is as if your in the air your melee comes back after 1 singular kill and anytime you scorch something your class regens faster and you can dive again if you run out of resto or to collect orbs and sprites

Lucky Pants definitely beat out Foetracer for me, especially when paired with Malfeasance or Warden's Law. The other day I ran a Revenant LP build with a 4th Times/Vorpal Warden's Law on a Master Lost Sector 30 levels under with no Stasis surge or surge mods equipped, and I was able to freeze and then kill Overload and Unstoppable champions in one magazine of hand cannon ammo if I landed all crits. Lucky Pants + Warden's Law + Duskfield with Whisper of Rending can lock down and melt any champion in the game.

actively throwing, ophidian aspect is known as a pvp exotic, but on strand with izi gl rocket ophidian, its one of the best damage in the game against most bosses

While Cuirass and Pyrogale are strong, I really don’t like them. I would put Stronghold in top 5. For the rest, I completely agree on everything.

I really hope bungie reworks solar warlock because the 3.0 sucks really bad. overly reliant on exotics, shit designed aspects that suck for buildcrafting, no burning or healing focus. shitty x2 resto that doesn't even do anything in most content because x1 outheals almost everything

I prefer to use new void warlock gloves. Void spirits much more useful than just grenade

I've been using a Fallen Sunstar build since last season and I'm pretty sure my arc-centered kills have shot up several tens of thousands. When it really gets going, my abilities have only seconds of cool downs, and I'm an ad-clearing menace to society. It is easily one of the best exotics to drop lately and has made me love Warlock's arc class even more. My Ikelos SMG went from around 3k~ kills to about 20k. VERY fun and very reliable build for all kinds of content.

You seriously have Pyro and HOIL for titan but not strong hold?

HOIL hasn’t been good for a while. The class ability nerf with it completely throws off the rotation, and the nerf to its duration made it impossible to properly maintain and utilize.


Pyro is ok but including it over Strong hold is flat out laughable to me and suggest you don’t really keep up with Titan at all.


Strong hold gives on command resto times 2, while making you LITERALLY invincible to anything in front of you. It is BY FAR the hardest to kill set up in Destiny history, and all you need is strong hold and sword ammo.

Orpheus Rig have not left my legs as soon as I go to Nightstalker. Because moar tethers = moar satisfaction, and getting half your tether cooldown back in a single go is like busting all the nuts

Renewal grasps should have been here. 90% damage resist goes crazy now that the nerf has been reverted.

Intentional or not you have offended the hunter race by saying aeons. The history is deep but simple.. it all started in a GM..

Yet all the Hunter mains talk about how trash or non viable their class is for PVE. There are so many build options for PVE, and they're busted in PVP. As a Titan main, PVE is still fine, but I honestly can't find a single exotic worth running consistently in PVP. Class ability nerfs, exotic nerfs, have made it feel terrible. I mean Lorely's gave radiant, got changed to restoration x2, and then nerfed again lol. Meanwhile, Hunters, without an exotic equipped, can just use a class ability to become radiant and change ttk values in game. Warlocks can become amplified without a kill and have an arc buddy to help change ttk values. Meanwhile, Titans, who can either build into hyper aggressive playstyles or overly defensive playstyles, see nerfs on each end.

My rant is over. Great video though. It really points out the imbalances to me.

I think you should try Shinobu’s Vow on Hunter. It’s very strong and is one of my go-to’s for high tier endgame. For titan, Point Contact Cannon Brace is very strong up to Master, and Second Chance is my favorite Void exotic out of all three classes for any activity. On Warlock, I think I enjoy Dawn Chorus more over anything else, granted, I don’t have a good pair of Necrotic Grips yet.

In my personal experience liars handshake is parallel if not stronger then AC, it allows healing while damaging. Yea the arc melee alone is powerful but if you don’t secure that first kill you don’t go invisible and if you’re up against a tanky enemy you’re probably dead. Also you didn’t mention lorely splendor, I would consider that a pretty good exotic for survivabilty it’s not gonna match those other ones damage wise but I find it to match the description of heart of inmost light as all my abilities almost immediately come back after I use them.

Luna seems so overrated to me personally like it does LITERALLY the same reload bonus as a rally barricade but the titan doesn’t waste a exotic on it. So to me necrotic grips which is build defining mob eraser and decent boss damage definitely beats the crap out of Luna to me
