Skyrim - Best Builds for a Great Playthrough

First playthrough never seen anything skyrim before, went for a dark elf 1 handed sword and fire. Randomly stumbled across the Dawnguard for my sword option.

Battlemage is by far the most fun build. One Handed, Destruction and Restoration. Compliment with something that helps with stealth/thievery and you’re golden for a great first playthrough.

To bad you guy didn't include links to these builds, or the actual name you gave it. Trying to find them by random descriptions is going to be a real pain, so far I can't find that alteration/resto warrior at all.

I made all of Skyrim a vampire haven the sun was blotted indefinitely and the guards would let me walk out of prison after my vamps would feed on them and have random sex I hardly ever fought only trolls and murdered all werewolves

I like to say love your guys builds play always inspired every time want to try something new thank you for doing those type for us, second as a veteran player as well my playthrough is assassins/theift dargonborn/non dargonborn type i just love sneaking alot just be the sneaking of the sneaking you can be for me just fun relax playthrough, when it comes to role type playing you guys are the best give me some ideas how to make one, because i''m not very good making those type there just fun an learn how to build them which you guys do, and i also can't wait for two games that i'm looking forward two one is skyblivion, and second elder scroll 6 those are games wating for as well

My favorite builds tend to include light armor just because armor is good but I also like to loot everything useful, by which I mean every bs, alch, or enchanting ingredient, every potion, every weapon upgrade, and every enchanted gear piece. Then I almost always include resto and conjuration. I pick between destruction and archery for ranged attacks and then decide if I want 1h or 2h. Then of course I have the crafting skills.

What is the build of the dark elf toon, casting a ward while yielding an axe, shown early in the vid?

I keep trying Skyrim but its just so boring for the first few hours I just end up walking away & this game play & commentary really doesnt convince me to do anything else.

Just started a new playthrough with my first ever Altmer character and also my time being a spellblade! I've made builds in the past where I've weilded one or more blades and occasionally used magic, but never a build mostly comprised of magic but also weilding a sword. So far so good!

My favorite is the Vampire hunting, Thalmor stomping, Stormcloak supporting Paladin. (Modded lightly)
Alteration + Resto + Alchemy
2h silver sword + heavy silver armor + crossbows.
Sneak + traps.
Very specific few shouts, like the one which speeds up melee swings.
Breton. Shipwreck alt start.
Her family and noble house gets framed for political crimes in high rock. And the thalmor with penitus occulatus support, storm her home. They kill her oldest son before her eyes, when he attempted to fight off the in-justiciars. He was becoming a famed knight in the land and was quite skilled in armor and 2h, but it wasn't enough. The character ends up watching several of her eldest kin die brutally and several others dragged off to uncertain fates in dungeons. Her and her youngest daughter get the only mercy of being kept together, when the Thalmor throw her and daughter on a prisoner transport ship. In the ships holding cells she learns they are not being taken to cidna mine, like originally told, they are being transported to castle Volkihar as human caddle to feed on. She learns this when the man in the cell next to hers spits on one of the guards but a thalmor agent stops the guard from killing the man because "Harkon would not be pleased if they denied him the beast blood they'd purchased."
The man was indeed werewolf, and of coarse changes unexpectedly, mid-route to skyrim, killing half the crew and causing the shipwreck.
The player character takes her dead daughters only possession (a doll) and swims ashore to begin her new life of hatred, regret, and vengeance.

At this point my elder scrolls experience has gotten to the same place as my dnd experience. I roll the dice on everything and enjoy the chaotic builds 😂

For years I played a variety of builds, such as Paladins, true nord warriors, orc beserkers, and when I finally tried a stealth archer build... I was bored out of my mind. it's got high damage but I just found it the most boring build in the game.

My favorite build I've done was an Imperial warrior who crossed the boarder looking to make a difference in Skyrim. Her father always taught her to do what was right and honorable and that's how she lived until one day a little boy challenged her perception of right and wrong. Killing an old abusive lady. After that she got tangled up with the Dark Brotherhood, threatening to expose her if she didn't do what they said. So she began leading a double life between assassin and hero.
