I had a discectomy of the L5S1 in October 2021 and the op was successful and I returned to work after 1 week (working from home) but 11 months later it came back twice as bad. Now I’m waiting for this nerve root block procedure as a “let’s see how we get on” step. Apparently the MRI doesn’t look too sinister but my pain levels would disagree. Now I’m taking Oxycodone slow release tablets and immediate release Oxycodone liquid (and paracetamol) to relieve the pain but it barely touches it. I’m nervous about this procedure that it won’t offer the relief I hope for. Fingers crossed and best of luck to all of you who are currently suffering 🫶

Had this done for surgery it was a blessing until it was taken off and started feeling the pain again
