Give you a like . But next time try using a vice of some sort ,to hold the motor during test, as to not cause any injury

Big bravo for the easy fix. Can I give you a little tip: after this procedure try to dip the motor in water for couple of minutes running at low voltage. It will clean all carbon in the armature and polish comutator contacts. Believe it will make it run even smoother. You will probs need to change the water couple of times until it becomes clear.
