Got to love misleading and plainly wrong information being peddled as fact. Article 5 (the thing where if one is attacked then all are attacked) only triggers for NON Nato members as the founders of Nato never thought alliance members would attack each other. This means Nato members can attack each other and Nato can only mediate instead of triggering Article 5 (This has been a point of contention since the 1980s with disputes between Greece and Turkey). That is why Putin wanted to join, not to make friends but to circumvent Nato entirely XD
