Got a xeon e5 1660v2 fastest production ivy bridge xeon

One of my servers at the house for my home lab is a Lenovo with dual E5-2420v2. Hexacore CPU’s with HT for a total of 24 threads.
Got bored last night and looked up faster CPU’s for giggles.
I found 2 x E5-2440v2 CPU’s from eBay with the seller having 99% good reviews for them. So 2 x 8 core cpus that HT for a total of 32 threads.
When this cpu came out in 2014, it was at $832 each!!
I just paid $18 bucks for BOTH CPU’s and $6 more for a 2 year warranty on them!!! $18 freaking bucks for 32 cpu threads!
My Hyper-V homelad will be happier now!

I recently ordered this Cpu with a newer Revision of this Board (with m.2 nvme and usb3.0) for 58€ (the 2420v2 was 9€) shipped.
It should arrive in a few days. With the Ram (16gb Ecc) I bought here in Germany its only 64€ which seems good.
