This is quite badass, indeed!

I like the conductor's style - a lot of other conductors wave their arms in circles, and I can't tell whre the beats are!!

On reconnait une interprétation réussie de cette œuvre dans les dernières mesures du final de cette symphonie ..... c'est à dire => une douce montée en crescendo de la puissance de l'orchestre pour arriver sur un sublime fortissimo ..... ICI , Susanna M. , y parvient parfaitement et c'est grandiose ..... 👍👍👍👍👍

Outstanding performance by the Frankfurt Radio Symphony of this, my favourite Sibelius symphony (by far). Thank you Maestro Malkki for your leadership in conducting the orchestra.

Really magnificent performance and conducted with such purpose. Agree with others, it's so much more powerful when the final movement isn't too slow. The final few bars get me every time.

Madame Mälkki a dirigé cette symphonie avec une expressivité remarquable. Une magnifique version de la 2ème, avec une compréhension en profondeur du texte musical. Vraiment superbe, j'admire. Le public semble avoir à juste titre beaucoup apprécié cette réussite. C'est mérité.

My high school played the 4th movement for our UIL concert along side Verdi La Forza Del Destino. I was principal clarinet, and it was my first time getting to play in a full orchestra. It was one of the coolest experiences ever. The finale has a special place in my heart, so many good memories from rehearsals and the performance itself.
