The A380 is the Golden Eagle of commercial aviation. Mother nature is not bringing this plane down. As a passenger in well over a hundred flights, the A380 is equivalent to being in a Bentley, but safer.

What a privilege , watching and hearing these professionals, at the top of their careers, doing what they are gifted to do. My mom and I were in an emergency landing on Northwest Orient when I was just ten years old. Ever since I have the greatest reverence for pilots and all aircrew. Thanks for the film!

As i listen to the co pilot it makes me wonder if there are american accents that are hard for Europeans to understand?

I have been into there and it does take ages from landing to parking, or indeed the other way round. A far cry from my youth near Leeds Bradford (LBA) when your plane was the only one there and taxiing took three minutes!

Surprised at:
a. Having a night light on to read paperwork. Would think it would harm night vision capability.
b. Pen and paper? Thought everything was touchpad these days.

Digital display is cool and all but what would happen if the screen failed at night? They have no analogue backup?!

The high camera angle is weird. It makes it look like the plane is coming in far too steeply.

People say “what a piece of machinery” I say “how amazing what your brain can do”. Same brain controls a tricycle at the age of three or so and later the same brain develops enough capability to control an A380. And the beauty part is that we only use ten percent of it.
