File size wise is having 2 videos: source and mask, better than having vp9?

love your many approaches for solving the alpha videos! I had solved one of my projects using one of those approaches before. building an web service compatible with all the browsers are very frustrating and even more with alpha videos. thank you!

how about using a video with white background and adding mix-blend-mode: darken or multiply in CSS, that'll do the trick in a bunch of cases

Sadly for my Windows 11 PC and the FFmpeg Full Version the alpha extract did not work and the alphamerge command does not work.

Can't find this 'small application' from Rotato that is 'really just that'. I downloaded the rotato app and it looks/works nothing like in your video.
