After 200 hours in ds1 I can tell you they actually do have beards in the character creator, but it’s hard to find and the beards suck

The Master keys basically the speed runner strat, to skip parts of the game and the old Witches ring is to access otherwise hidden story, though there's a laborious way to obtain it in game, by backtracking somewhere and trading another item to a feathered friend. the "No effect" trinket is a dev troll (no-one belived them) and everything else is a consumable or the binoculars. People general pick either the Key, ring, or the bombs, to speed kill the 1st boss.

Dark souls basically:

Game: *shows you tutorial
you: *did the tutorial
Game: *boss health bar appears

As a souls vet, I get that itch every few months to watch another immensely lucky/poor soul venture blindly through the world of Lordran for the first time, and thus I discovered your channel. I'm enjoying your style, the light-hearted comedic commentary combined with thoughtful appreciation for the game and lore is a great watch.
