I can't say for sure about the 1st race because I didn't go back and re-watch it, but the Lambo jumped the gun on races 2 and 3. The truck held its ground power for power with it so I think he would've stood a chance if the Lambo didn't have that handicap advantage.

That Dodge would have a better chance if it wasn't hauling 500lbs of lard you call a driver.
