"Kings & Queens" Ava Max | Janet Duke's Z team | Zumba Fitness Dance Workout | Breast Cancer Awareness

This Zumba Fitness dance workout that Janet Duke and her Z Team perform in this video was dedicated as a tribute to breast cancer awareness month. Needless to say we are all delayed in getting things done because of the pandemic, so here we are celebrating and encouraging everyone touched by breast cancer in December 2020. This song "Kings and Queens" was chosen by Janet herself. She expressed the need to let people know they are not fighting on their own and that she considers all those affected by cancer as "Kings and Queens".

Janet Duke was diagnosed with Stage 2/3 Triple Negative Breast Cancer April 18, 2017. She underwent twelve weekly chemotherapy treatments, followed by four bi-weekly treatments of the “red devil” and taught Zumba Fitness classes THE ENTIRE time! The only downtime of teaching was when Janet had a lumpectomy to remove the mass in her breast. After surgery, Janet jumped right back into her passion and continued to teach while undergoing thirty three daily radiation treatments. Janet was bald and beautiful and was the true meaning of “self love” - showing she can love herself in her lowest state and depend on the Z Team to help carry her through the battle.
This Zumba Fitness Dance was performed and dedicated as a tribute for all women and men who are currently struggling and/or stricken with cancer. It is intended to encourage those to fight for their life, to never give up on their passions, and to continue to love their self image even in the toughest of times.
