I didn't mind this movie is I guess how I will put it, I still enjoyed watching it but yeah the biggest disappointment for me is when a villain for plot reasons doesn't fight at their full potential and gets defeated, because at least to me a really well made/written villain makes a movie and there is nothing worse then one that disappoints just because the plot requires it.

It has been a bit since I watched it but I remember thinking why isn't he using those powers anymore or at least not to their full potential, but in the end it's a hero movie and the hero 99% of the time has to win as they are the focus. But movies with the twist where the villain wins those leave a much more lasting impact over something like this, so yeah it was an alright movie but I think it could of been much more.

Had to shut it off after 20 minutes once they brought out the Ewoks and the Sandman people. Five thumbs down for this one. 👎👎👎👎👎.

Two thumbs up for Michelle Pfeiffer still got it goin on. 👍👍

I was actually expecting for antman to die a hero and high daughter to take the mantel making kang much more scarry. but seeing him loose like that felt unrewarding. looking forwards for season 2 loki

The original plot would've been so much better. They should've had Antman and Kang both trapped in the Quantom realm like the OG plot suggested. Next time we see Kang should've been with antman as his prisoner

Lots of people think kang was beat by ant man and are disappointed but I think he knew he had to let ant man win and had to be thrown in the quantum core that’s why kang kept doing things like not giving Cassie back cause he knew what Scott would do

Kevin, been watching you for years. I think you are 100% fine criticizing the MCU. We love the MCU, but you have to be honest with the ones you love. Marvel been dropping the ball basically since Thanos and Tony died. I'm all about that character development! Keep criticizing, keep loving :-)

There's a big difference of when Scott went down to the Quantum Realm using a controlled environment vs. Cassie sending a signal down to the Quantum Realm. The signal sent to the Quantum Realm was how they got sucked in in the first place and Kang finding them. When they allowed Scott to go down there the first time, remember that Janet, Hank, and Hope built that portal inside the van. It was a mission done in a controlled space. here in Quantumania, Cassie made the signal/portal by herself not knowing what lies beyond it or where exactly in the Quantum Realm it will take them. Big difference.

I think a lot of the criticism here is just... people's plane refusal to take the character of Antman seriously.

So therefore...because it's an Antman movie...he shouldn't be able to put up a fight with Kang.

Besides the movie clearly sets up how they defeated Kang in the end

(1) Kang is defeated by a concerted effort of all the characters in the movie combined. The Antman family, the resistance, and the evolved ants. It's not "just antman" or "just the wasp"

(2) the Ants which overpowered Kang were a highly evolved Civilization with several thousands years of evolution and tech. Yes... it may visually "look" ridiculous...but it is a Antman film. Ants are his theme.

This movie had good ideas and cool moments but overall it was just ok. Majors absolutely steals the show just as he did in Creed 3. He’s a commanding presence and you absolutely believe he will do all he says and more. It’s an unfortunate situation with his domestic violence charges. If they are proven to be true and Marvel has to let him go it will be devastating for this entire phase of the mcu.

My biggest issue with this film is the tone, its trying to be this more serious film with a really sinister villain but then you have that typical Marvel goofy humour that just feels out of place which is a shame. I would almost prefer it had they stuck to the more typical Antman style and kept Kang for a different film or maybe just teased him like they did Thanos in the earlier films. Modok was just ridiculous and the whole thing felt more like a Star wars film but i think 6/10 is a fair score

When Scott went big and tried to break into Kang’s bubble with the circular building he used as a shield, I wish he would have said “I can do this all day.” That would have fit his character perfectly.

There is just no reason to include that shit. Make a video for those who read the comics or don't care. 90% of your viewers did not want this information.

I think Kang will clone himself and win the multiversal war that way. I believe his time in the core will give him time manipulation powers and he’ll have multiple versions of himself like Antman. Instead of just the possibilities being in the core, since I believe he’ll have the ability to manipulate time he’d be able to send the versions of Kang throughout time without creating another timeline. I believe that’s how we’ll have a more powerful Kang than the one that’s in this movie. He can travel through time without branching and within any timeline he wants.

Just got out of this. I thought it was a lot of fun. Lots of excitement.
Not really a plot hole. Janet says in the movie that Hank’s tech couldn’t take them deep enough into the QR. so she wasn’t worried about sending Scott down there.
Also, I think Kang’s tech is either too damaged to use in that last fight. Or he was overconfident about beating up Scott.

Totally disagree. It’s a fun spectacle and the writing throughout is so dryly funny. The whole movie is like a badass Rick and Morty episode. The ants were a perfect counter to Kang’s individual powers and a good additional metaphor for people rising up together to take down seemingly impossible power. It was also very Rick and Morty that the ants developed so much on their own.

I though this movie was awesome. If you looked at it from the point of view where you took a sec to imagine all of the possible/probable plots they could have actually written all being displayed at the same time then converging to one probable moment from the probable plots that branched from Ant-Man's, the Wasps, and Kangs different probable selves to show you the actual plot that they wanted the viewer to follow.

A lot of work to be done on the viewers part to even start to imagine all of that and the possible other outcomes that they didn't show you but possibly could in the future show you. With that writing they could possibly retcon anything they want in the future. It could be a never ending storyline. The possibilities are endless. That makes the movie even deeper than what they intended.

I actually like this movie now is it the best of all time no it is not however is that a lot of great material to the screen, also when hearing about the deleted scene that would have brought it up to high levels I do not know why they would leave it out. From being trapped in Quantumzone to even showing real loss we did not get that however brought a lot of greatness

The worst part for me is Catherine Newtons performance. She acts being happy well, yet not mad, or scared. Seriously if you got sucked into a quantum realm wouldn’t you be freaking the F out. I don’t know she barely shows any emotion and constantly has resting B face. Other then that I enjoyed the movie.
