Dr. Schekman, a 2013 Nobel laureate in Physiology or Medicine, is a professor of molecular and cell biology at University of California, Berkeley, and an adjunct professor of biochemistry and biophysics at University of California, San Francisco. In this webinar he talks about his very personal experience with Parkinson's and his co-leadership of Aligning Science Across Parkinson's (ASAP), a coordinated research initiative to advance targeted basic research for Parkinson’s disease.
