Can confirm America is B tier getting slapped with heat rounds and apds hurts when you only got he and ap with no stabilized gun. Plus the tech difference at high ratings. I’m at 7.0 using tanks from 1948ish rest of the game 1970s-1999 (vidar)

this ranking method is pretty logic but the last point is a bit ... irrelevant, when you compare "legendary" (i would have said "iconic") vehicles you cannot have a relevant ranking because each country will have their own point of view about what they consider iconic

for example with France : you counted around 7 iconic vehicles from a foreign point of view, but i personaly count 27 on ground 16 in the air 3 helis and 4 ships

i'm not saying it's wrong to establish a "general" listing but according to what relevance it has i do not think it should be that significant in the final ranking

i also think you should have counted the diversity of vehicle classes by ranks,
for example : in France we have a fuckton of light things (i mean look at all the AMX13 variants) but we have a really poor if not empty list of heavy tanks (and i mean REALLY heavy tanks that can tank rounds)
on the other hand, USA have a lot of diversity, you have light things, things that go boom, things that tanks, things that shoot far etc etc and there is almost always a way to get a lot of diversity in a a USA lineup while in France we will usualy play with light things, medium things and anti airs

all that said i really appreciate the fact that your impartiality in this tier list ^^

i downloaded the game a few days ago and i enjoy playing it should i keep going with the us or start totaly fresh on Germany or japan

1. Time to get to top tier => usually 6 months if you sink all your time into it, usually around a year or more.
2. Winrate heatmaps will not tell you anything about how players enjoy their nation. Nations fight in randomized teams together (so in one battle there are US + DE + GB vs RU + JAP + CHN and in another one it is US + RU vs DE + ISR). It is the general skill of players on each battle and their understanding of their vehicles which determines who wins. And although winning is a short-term dopamine shot, it has nothing to do with how you enjoy the nation.
3. What is a legendary vehicle is subjective.



Go for whichever nation you like. Choose more of them if you want. Pick an era (Early WW2, Late WW2, Cold War, Modern Times) and look for the tech-tree to see if anything hits your eyes. Also, don't rush yourself into Cold War and Modern Times battles (for example by buying premium vehicles). You will be in a huge disadvantage due to your lack of experience and knowledge (maps, weak-spots, vehicles and weapons capabilities, tactics, speed of game, ...).


If you want to enjoy WT, don't tryhard it.

Win you For Israel, my opinion on why Israel's Tech tree is so expensive, but very few tanks is because. The first thing you can buy in Israel is a tier 5. And if I remember this It costs 150,000

Another criteria for this tierlist should be the amount of easy/enjoyable vehicles each tech tree offers. These vehicles are considered nearly OP, easy to learn etc. This way new players can use and abuse em for research grinding and silver farming. Also the higher BR the vehicle is, is a plus as higher tiers tend to get grindy

You should redo it the tierliet, Gaijin has severely changed all of the tech trees and the way you research vehicles

Don't listen too him the only nations is usa Germany and uusr and maybe Britain

Does this TheGreenlandic dude know whats he's talking about? No way in hell your going to grind the US tech tree in a month with premium while playing 4-6 hours. That's unrealistic.

This video does not take into account that different players have different proficiency levels.
Rather than making decisions based on statistics alone, decisions should be made based on the performance of vehicles implemented in each country.
What this video does is pretty much the same adjustment that Gaijin does, and I don't think it really makes sense.

Personally chinese tech tree is the best because you work a little to grind the early tiers but after that the tech tree has some of the best top tier experience ever. Plus you get to play and try a bit of everything in a single tech tree from mid tier
