Hey, i had winning ads from abo that i transferred over, let them run in CBO main for 3 days before introducing DCTs. Now the new DCT that i introduced a few days ago still haven't gotten any spend, how long do you let dct run to give it a chance to spend 3 days? And how long until you kill it from starting it if it gets so spend

In that instance where your "186 (new)" was at the same spend level as your main ad set, would you ever just leave that ad set on since its profitable, or just simply take the winning ad and move it to your main campaig?

You mean testing with dynamic ads. Does it mean just upload new video into the dynamic ad and let Facebook determine which video works best or create a new ad under the same ad set.

Hey Nick, I must try this technique thanks alot for the video. I presume you're puttin both videos and images in the dynamic ads just making sure not combining videos and images within same adset?

Nick, you rock bro!

1 - So when you testing DCT you look at spend + target CPA (cpl in this video case) - 5-7 days running, right? If it is close do you keep it optimize?

2 - Another thing: after you find a winning concept, do you still looking for another or create new ads and explore winning concept?

Hey Nick thanks for this what if you are using 2 different interest targeting, would you create 2 different adsets inside the cbo for each interest?

Hey Nick, if you find a new winning variation of a winning AD. when you bring it into your winning asset. Do you delete the previous variation in the winning adset?

heyy nick, love the vid!! one quick question tho:
i have an adset that has been running for 3 days and received 65% of the budget with a ideal roas. would it make sense to continue running it even though the cost per purchase is higher than our target? and when would be suitable to copy the winning dct into the main adset?

Thank you and love your vids! 🙏

Great video Nick. I have recently graduated as Digital Marketer and I decided to dive into Facebook Ads. I wanted to clarify few things. In my account I run a DCT campaign which gave me my first “winner” ad for my “winner “ ad set. Now I am running my DCT2, and I am using 3 new ad creative , 1 new primary text and 1 winner primary text , 1 new headline and 1 winner headline. What I am supposed to do with a “winner” of this DCT2 ? Am I going to add this to my “winner” ad set to my first winner ? Should I compare the performance of my ads only inside DCT2 or also compare it to my first “winner” ad from DCT1. In case if I add the “winner” of DCT2 to “winners” ad set , and it performs better than my “winner” from DCT1 , should I turn off the previous “winner” ?

Thank you very much for response

Hey man, this is so helpful. Just curious though, would you alter this strategy much if you were working with a client that only had a max budget of $50 per day? I feel like this makes it much more difficult to test multiple DCT's at once as there isn't enough spend allowed to fully test them. What do you think?

Hey Nick, thank for the video... Quick question, what would you do if you have launched a new DTC which has 3 creatives and 2 body copys and 2 of the creatives and both of the body copy, gets pretty much the exact results as well as AD spend... Is the good solution, to spend more on it? (we are using your campaign structure)

Also just few days we've also launched a new dtc in the same campaing and and the new DTC took all of the budget from the previous winning DTC, but the new DTC doesnt really get much results - only AD spend. It has now been 3 days and it left us little worried.

Thanks very much for any advice!

Would you take the winner out in a new broad ad set immediately? And turn of the ad set with dynamic? And then launch a new dynamic ad set with new creatives? Is that correct?

Also, when you add new DCTS at a different time, what metric aside from "Amount Spent" do you use to determine a winning ad? Because the later added ads would automatically have lower spend than an ad that has been running ie for two weeks right? What's the next best metric than Amount Spent? OR how do you analyze that?

Hey Nick, for the underperforming Ad Sets/DCTs and Ads you turn off... Do you keep them in the campaign even if you won't use them again (for Facebook to keep data that might be useful) OR do you delete them after you turn them off? Does it matter? I notice you have a lot of "turned off" assets/ads but you keep them in the campaign... Thanks!

Nick, so if it your DCT spends the same amount of money as your control adset, it means you have a winner?
Do you have a threshold of this? What would be the minimum (percentagewise) it has to spend of the budget to be considered a winner?

Hey Nick, I can't seem to find the post ID for creatives using your method. I think I screwed something up. I added UTM parameters to the ads and selected this new "Multi-advertiser ads" option, I wonder if that screws up the URL and post ID. Worst case, can I just make a new ad with the best combination of ad, text, and headline. Or do I have to specifically copy the ID of the winning creative?

Who even would want to advertise on Facebook when they can unjustly ban you anytime and steal your revenues? They invent the reasons. Just like Stalin said: "Find me the man, I'll find the crime".
This dystopian tyranny have to stop.
Then it'll be maybe considerable to do business with these enterprises.

Hi Nick, I've tested this method for a few weeks based on your DCT tutorial. I'm wondering if you ever found new winning ads? Here is my thesis, one of my first ad got a lot of social proof due to spend, it started to perform better with time (still do) with about 4-5k€ spend per day. I've tried to find new winning ads by launching DCT ads within the same campaign, but none really spend. Don't you think it might not be due to the ad but to the social proof of the actual winning ad which gives it a huge hedge compared to the new ad being tested with 0 social proof and thus explaining why it wouldn't spend?

Awesome thanks for sharing your knowledge man! Got 2 small questions;

- Is Dynamic Ads good for starting out on a new product, or would you rather go with a regular ABO campaign to test and validate a product?
- Is it okay if I test multiple products on 1 Ad Account? I test 1 product a day on 1 Agency Ad Acc. Or does that break performance?

Thanks man!!

Thanks Nick, would do a DCT with an existing winning ad to see if you can optimize further? For example, drop that winning creative in a DCT and use another 2 headlines, 2 primary texts? So just one creative this time with a permutation of only 4 new ads for testing.
