If after doing this your printer still wont print. You should replace the printhead of the printer. Usually you replace it every 4 years specially if you use it often.

I have G1000 replacing my old epson L300. I never buy canon again, my L300 was problem free until I retired it. Everytime I want to print with G1000 (once a week approx.) I have to check the ink or clean printer in the utilities software. It is slower btw compare to L300 which I found instantly to print.
