Can you get the shoes stretch for wide feet? Nice shoe. Great review
ОтветитьThank you for the review man. I’ve been looking for a minimalist white sneaker, and was overwhelmed with the variety of choices. These are the ones!
ОтветитьGood review. Love my Koios though.
ОтветитьDid you tried using sneakers shield?
Ответить"Look man" got to get that trademarked!
ОтветитьFREE INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING......that needs it's own headline. Kudos.
ОтветитьHey Nick, nice review, anything from Italy has to be good! No offense, but I just don’t see you as a white sneaker guy., so used to seeing you in boots. You do look good in shorts!
ОтветитьHopefully Rose Anvil gets a pair to see the quality compared to Common Projects and Koio, he literally tears the shoe completely and in detail explains what is wrong
ОтветитьA lot of these new sneakers have something in common. They make common projects look like a foolish purchase.
ОтветитьHey bro! Love the video! Check out Dundas boots the type 01 in mustard suede it’s their signature boot! It’s gorgeous! I wanna get one I’m currently saving for it as it’s expensive!
ОтветитьRecently stumbled upon a company called Aquila and found that they make a boot called the Jesse Military Boot which is very similar to a lot of the heritage boots covered on this channel. They're sort of like a dress shoe but made into a boot, with pig skin lining etc... Would be really interesting to see someone take a look at it!
ОтветитьInteresting, they remind me a lot of Beckett Simonons, with the addition of a cork insole. Major props for not putting out the review until they've been worn in! It's always frustrating when the only reviews are for brand new shoes, since most shoes will look entirely different after a couple hours of wear
ОтветитьI hate sneakers and despise white sneakers but your reviews have so much work put into them.
ОтветитьYour passion for these shoes came through on the video
ОтветитьBeautiful review!!
ОтветитьDamn those selvedge denim & white sneakers combo are lethal... Your reviews never disappoint, nick!!! 🤘🔥
ОтветитьThey have quite a selection of footwear for around $300, from wingtips to chelsea boots.
Their boots and dress shoes do have half sizes.
I have a custom pair in burgundy box calf and I think it's cool that it looks like dress shoe leather. Moreso than the white ones in the video.
ОтветитьI have these shoes, wish they made half sizes
ОтветитьGreat product review but still common projects FTW. I do love Cabells, Greats and Koio in different colorways but as for the white minimal nothing beats the styling of CPs
ОтветитьI loooove it, amazing shoes bro 😃💓🥰
ОтветитьJust ordered a pair based only on this review. I'm hoping for the best! Now for the waiting game.
ОтветитьStrange that they don't mention the cork midsole anywhere on their website, you would think it would be a selling point and they have all the other details.
ОтветитьAs always, great review. Sort of a SNL cold open, identifying yourself and the channel only as a running afterthought. Anyway, based on your review I placed an order today. The thickness and the cork were the thumbs on the scale. Just a note for potential buyers, I opted not to take the $15 discount coupon. Why? Because if you do, you forfeit the chance to return the sneakers, only exchange them. I wear a size 11 but sizing can obviously greatly vary with manufacturers. You're already subject to a $10 restocking fee anyway according to the fine print. I normally loathe returning anything both for the inconvenience to me and the drag it places on the seller who's trying to make a go of it which I respect. I trust this price is a good value anyway and to be fair, others, like the Koio Capri doesn't pay shipping for returns or exchanges, is slightly more expensive and has thinner leather. I chatted on Idrese's website and someone there assured me to buy my normal size 11, so hopefully no drama. Just wanted to warn other viewers, if you take the discount you might paint yourself into a corner to save just 6%. I didn't want to potentially go through a 3 or 4 month sizing experiment only to be stuck with a weird fit. You buy sneakers for their ultimate comfort and fit and these aren't cheap. So maybe full price is the best choice for everyone.
ОтветитьBetween the archibald london sf-v2(I think that's right) and the idrese nuno, which is the better?
ОтветитьHow do they compare to Greats?
ОтветитьI bought these shoes because of this video and basically everything that Nick goes over in this review is 100% true. I'm extremely happy with them. A little while ago I bought a pair of Koios and I've been kind of sad about how much they've creased and how they're really not super comfortable to walk in. The Nuno's beat my Koio's in every category.
I've had them for a month and they do slightly crease...but it's barely noticeable. The leather seems to be slightly thicker and maybe better quality. It seems like my Nunos are holding their shape way better than my Koios. I do have shoe trees for both pairs but my Nunos look much fresher.
They're also much more comfortable to walk in. It actually feels like I have support wearing Nunos and I'm sure they'll probably get even more comfortable as I continue to break them in. I usually wear a size 9.5 and size 9 fit fine for me for the Nunos. My toes do hit the edge of the shoe as well... I'm hoping that as I wear them more that will change.
One slight downside is that I tried buying a pair of shoe trees through Idrese and they wouldn't honor my purchase. Apparently the shoe trees are custom made for each shoe... So they won't send you shoe trees after your shoes are delivered to you. You have to buy everything all at once. Also, it's a little weird that my shoe box doesn't say Idrese on it like in the video. That wasn't a big deal at all to me though. I'm fine with the minimalist look of the box.
So, thank you Nick for doing a video on these shoes. They're pretty awesome and I'm glad I subscribed.
Thursday has new low tops that seem like they could compete with all of these luxury brands. Could you review those?
ОтветитьWould love to see these compared up against the Crown Northampton's! They both seem to have thicker leather and the same mid size profile
Ответитьi love this review! might actually consider getting a pair thanks to your review.
i am usually a size 8.5 but fit a size 9 with oliver cabell quite nicely. should i stick to the same size with the nuno's?
Great video. If I wear an 11 or 44 in the Oliver cabell should I buy a 43 in the Koio?
ОтветитьWhy is no one asking about the Jeans? So: where do I get this Jeans?
ОтветитьThank you for this review 👍🏾 people don’t understand we want to see the shoes after some wear🤦🏾♂️
ОтветитьHey cobber
Please review AXEL ARIGATO.
I would love to know more details on these sick fairdikum sneakers..
Thanks mate.
Could you review Thursday Boot Compay sneakers? Heard good things, but not many reviews on here. Great channel. New sub.
ОтветитьHow are these against Paul Evans sneakers longterm?
ОтветитьIf anyone can help me please lmk if they run the same way that Koio’s do because I actually had to go down to a 7 when I’m normally an 8 I’m dress shoes and 9 I’m sneakers. If anyone bought Koio’s and these please lmk if they run about the same.
ОтветитьIs it just me or does that curved stitch going along the side look like shit? I hope it's just me cuz I bought these based off this video. Despite me not liking that stitch. Is it even needed?
ОтветитьGreat review and channel! I was debating between these and the OCs. Just ordered a pair of Idrese. Thanks!
ОтветитьYou should do a video about Beckett simonon all white leather sneakers
ОтветитьI'm an 11D on brannock and I got these in size 12. They fit well, and they are more comfortable than other minimal sneakers because of the the thick box calf, cork filler and steel shank. Always look for construction and materials rather than brand names.
ОтветитьThe creases add character, the more you wear them the better they look.
ОтветитьHow would you rate these against the morjas "the sneaker 2.0"?
ОтветитьVery great review Nick! I have wider feet and I'm hesitating between the Koio, Idrese Nuno, Thursday Premiere and the Common Projects. Any thoughts on which brand would offer the best toe box fit for wider feet like mine?? Thanks a lot!
ОтветитьGreat to see a sneaker reviewer who also has big feet! You'd think if they make them to order then half sizes would be no problem.
ОтветитьI ended up buying these based upon your review. Amazing shoes!
ОтветитьThe Style OG says these are full grain napa leather. Is that accurate? I know on the Idrese website it says napa leather but doesn't seem to state that it's full grain.
ОтветитьI ordered a pair of low top trainers, the quality of the execution of the shoes is very low. Avoid this company.
