where have I been life update

I’ve been watching Kandee for over 10 years and throughout my 20s whenever I felt really depressed or going through a break up (which in the grand scheme of things I know is small) or whatever it was I struggling with big or otherwise I would watch her videos to uplift me and inspire myself to choose to look to the bright side. She reminded me of the choice I had in those situations and I felt that if she can be this beacon of light in her life why can’t I in mine? She has made me a much much better person than I ever could have been otherwise even just through her videos. It’s sad for me to think anyone else can compare to what she has had to offer I hope she realizes what she really meant/means to all of us

@Kandee Johnson I have to say that watching this video today has...really helped me, because I started to have a whole slue of leg issues that I- Thank God!- didn't and STILL don't need to go for surgery for. However, through-out these little over nine and a half years I started to crochet more to keep my mind off of it. As well as finding out that what I had been struggling for almost a decade were seizures. Now don't freak out! I'm not loosing brain function (Again. Thank GOD!) But I did have to change my whole diet because of it. And now I have tendinitis in my hands and wrists because of over use. So I had to say thank you. Because whenever I've been in a hard place, in my life, God has put you back in there. And I can't thank Him and you enough.

Okay so I just noticed I totally missed this video for some reason and decided to watch it. I was also diagnosed with CRPS!!😮 I was STUCK in a wheelchair for almost 3 whole years because the disease attacked my right leg and I was totally crippled. It was an incredibly dark time for me and my kids. By the grace of God I have learned to walk again very recently (within the past several months) and I honestly never thought that healing from this disease was even possible. I’m glad to hear in your most recent video that it seems like your thumb is doing better! I learned having faith and hope and determination to never ever give up on myself was the most valuable part of my healing journey. Sorry I’ve been blowing up your comments but holy moly I just can’t believe you were dealing with CRPS at the same time I was. I was recently diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis and I’m also dealing with a serious inner ear disease called Ménière’s that gives me horrible spells of vertigo and nausea… but I keep reminding myself I’ve tackled one disease, I can tackle another and I refuse to give up on myself ever again. I won’t ever give up on God again, and I know He never gave up on me and I’m grateful every single day for every step I take. You are in my prayers, I can’t wait for more new videos (if/when the time is right) ❤

I LOVE your transparency and honesty...it is so refreshing and REAL. Hard times have a purpose in our life; unfortunately, many let hard times make their heart hard towards God. If we will move forward and look to God (as you did with your never- before- prayers to Him), He will answer those prayers by causing us to grow and mature beyond our immature ways that good times continue to feed. Without hardship, most will not grow beyond their current level, which is often times self-serving and self-centered. The last couple of years (Covid 19) will bring us into the Great Awakening, as what will soon be coming out, will push people to seek God as they never have before. You discovered this during this time. You have the most fantastic future ahead of you because you just discovered the secret to enjoying life. That's why you tear up when talking about praying to God. I am so happy for you. Thank you for sharing from your heart. You are truly beautiful.

I started following you almost from the beginning... You gave me the tricks I needed to learn the little bit of skills I have with makeup- and it boosted my confidence. You were the one who explained why my oily skin was so difficult to keep makeup on! Trust me.. that was a game changer for me. I've had a rough past few years (Mom passing, Uncle passing, Spouse in health crisis, My own health crisis, Covid, losing jobs, nearly losing my home...) and I sometimes visited your page just for the calm nostalgia. I didn't expect you to start making videos again- I figured you were off to bigger and better things! I'm glad you're back though!
I've been trying to do the same thing.. I'm trying hard to go after my dreams- but I feel like the harder I try, the worse it gets. I'm not giving up, but I certainly am tired. (And I just got over food poisoning so no wonder I'm so tired.) - I'm not religious, but I understand the sentiments and appreciate your kindness. I hope you're doing okay, or as okay as can be. 💖

I just keep loving you more and more!! Please don’t leave U tube! A little about me. I started watching you 12 years ago or so. Whenever you first started posting. I think my first video was of how to cut bangs. You were great! I felt back then I could relate to you in many ways. Fast forward 12 years. I got really sick over the years as well as my 3 kids. Come to find out it was Lyme disease as well as PANDAS/PANS. I have Lyme disease and gave it to my 3 kids. It was so bad for me I couldn’t walk or lift my arms the neuropathy was so bad. Along with pain and horrible brain fog. Took basically 20 years for my diagnosis from onset to symtoms. Anyways, way too long on that. Sick for years and treatments for another 5 years for me and my kids. Doing great now. My point is, I watched your first videos, a few here and there over the years. Not much cause my focus was health for me and my kids. We’ll this past week I decided to take a brake from focusing on everything but myself, and have taken much needed time for myself this week! Guess what I decided to binge watch all week!! Your utube videos!! First it was just to get some makeup tips. But then it turned into loving the way you made me feel and think. Your inspiring, your uplifting, I love how your a self love promoter, encouraging in helping me think positive. Your real, you give hope. You have said in some videos you’ve thought maybe you don’t belong on utube anymore. Yes you do!! Please don’t leave, and keep posting what your posting! Don’t stop being real, don’t hide the hard that’s going on it your life, cause that’s what helps people the most! You being real that life is not always easy, and showing us how you get through the hard being positive and a good attitude is why I am watching your makeup tutorials and no one else’s! I’m so sorry you have Lyme disease. It is such a hard disease to go through. Thank you so much for sharing that you have it. I have a feeling you will help many people because of your strength to share it! You said you weren’t sure you should tell everyone you had it.
