ОтветитьI Know This Rock Tune 😎 It's An Emotionally And Powerful Tune Certainly 😎👍I Like This The Power Station's Version Than T- Rex's Original Version More 😁 🙌 When I Knew This Number In 1985, I Was 20 Years Old 🙆 Thanks To Upload 😀 Thank You So Much 🙇
ОтветитьOMG YES!!! 👍👍
ОтветитьStill here for Tony Thompson . . . Bossing it RIP Tony
ОтветитьThem two Taylor boys from DD didn't disappoint then, and sure as hell don't disappoint here.
Marc Bolan was a frickin' genius and this tune and Jeepster we're great. Power Station NAILED the cocky Bolanesque strut in this one... especially Palmer.
Love this rocking version, but as I posted elsewhere, TRex's version is sexier.
ОтветитьI listened to this cranked up all the way back in the 80s
ОтветитьThe Professor of Rock brought me here.
ОтветитьMasterpiece.
ОтветитьGot to hit dance floor with this
ОтветитьTony Thompson, what a fucking monster
ОтветитьThis song is for Cobra Kai season 2 and season 3 fight scenes
ОтветитьFor Jean Claude Vanne Dame of fight scenes of films.
ОтветитьSpiderman 3 fight scenes
ОтветитьIn memory of Robert Palmer & Tony Thompson
ОтветитьKills the original. One of the few covers that ever did.
ОтветитьYes. Just......yes. 🤘🤟👍
ОтветитьTony Thompson was a friggin BEAST. Truly worthy of title Supergroup
ОтветитьTEMAZO!!!!!!!!!!!!!Robert Allen Palmer Y The Power Station Mandan Realmente Después De Todo!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ОтветитьI actually heard this cover before I heard the original by T-Rex
Ответить144 people can't "Get It On!"
Ответить12/5/22 step by baby step even 💙
ОтветитьSo much better than the original. Lead guitar, bass and drums. Yes Robert Palmer too! .
ОтветитьVICE approved
ОтветитьRobert Palmer really brought this TREX song back to life.
ОтветитьThe very first time I've heard this song was when I lived independently on my own and I was on only 26 years old still love it still my favorite
ОтветитьThe song sounded great in the 80s and it sounds great today. with the superb musicianship of the Taylor's John and Andy vocals of the legendary Robert Palmer and drumming of the legendary drumgod Tony Thompson. the song was masterfully produced arranged and recorded my legendary bassist and sound engineer Bernard Edwards and the musical genius of Nile Rodgers.
ОтветитьR.I.P. Robert Palmer
ОтветитьBetter than the original
ОтветитьThese guys put so much heart and soul into their music and that is what put them at their perfection. This is by far one of my most favorite classics. Our generation may be getting older but we certainly know what real rock music is about unlike what is being played nowadays. I’ll forever be an 80s rocker. Rock on my fellow rockers
ОтветитьTony Thompson beating those drums like they said the wrong thing about his mama.
Killin' it!
So much stank on it you feel 30+ years later.
Drums so interesting & bass so fun!!
ОтветитьKiller song❤
ОтветитьBetter than the original, IMO.
ОтветитьThe bass and drums are incredible
ОтветитьDamn this song KICKS ROYAL ASS!
ОтветитьI remember rushing to the tape
Cassette recorder hoping to capture an untainted earliest beat at the top of the song. Freakin DJs would often talk clear up to the lyrics.
These guys definitely get it on!
ОтветитьRobert Palmer belongs in the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame
ОтветитьThe other band members bring their best, but TT's drumming is the main attraction on this track.
ОтветитьI know it was the Duranis' band but I really think they crafted this song's sound around Tony Thompson's drums. The power and physicality in his playing brought out everyone else's hardest edge. All of T Rex's sexy slink was relegated to whatever Robert Palmer deemed necessary (which was not much). The end result was half as provocative but twice (at least) as powerful.
ОтветитьYa gotta crank it up for this one
ОтветитьI was a young dude when the power station came out. Clubs jammed this song out..love the chunky guitar riffs and lead guitar. 🎸🎶🎵🎼
ОтветитьI absolutely like this cover of this song by the power station they had a great line up with Andy Taylor on bass John Taylor on guitar Tony T on drums and last but not least my guy Robert Palmer on lead vocals miss you my guy 😢🤘👍
ОтветитьLyrics?
ОтветитьMyself I'm throwing my own party 2nite having way fucking good time as hell got beer got coffee and havin sex
ОтветитьOne of the most rockin' tunes ever!!!
Ответить10/27/24 ‘10 😮
Ответить12/19/2024CT-Robert P.(almer), you brought a cash register check-out line to the stage during the creation of this song, yet another reason the real drum artist kicked your asses in the air!.-
