Thank you for showing this, Kristin! I’ve wanted to learn to spin but knew I couldn’t justify buying a spinning wheel right off. I’m excited to try this method now.
ОтветитьReally liked this video! Please do a video for the following yarn spinning activities:
1. Turkish Drop Spindling.
2. Preparing handspun yarn (after you finish spinning it)
Yes please on the Turkish spindle! I'm interested in learning to spin.
ОтветитьWould love to see the Turkish spindle! ❤
ОтветитьAlways more spinning videos ! :)
ОтветитьFascinating! I’ve never been interested in spinning but this looks really cool. Thanks it’s inspired me 😊
ОтветитьAs a woodworker I've always been mystified by spinning and textile craft in general. Watching this video was very educational and I'm left with a better understanding and an itch to go make some spindles. 😄
ОтветитьI would love videos on the next steps. Like how do you get it off the spindle, how do you ply it
ОтветитьWhat happens after you've spun your yarn onto the drop spindle? Like how would you knit with it? Would you have to do 2 so that you can ply them together to prevent them from unravelling?
ОтветитьThis was so helpful! Thank you so much 😊 I would love to see the Turkish spindle
ОтветитьThis is really helpful. A friend has lent me a drop spindle to try out and I'm just coming to grips with it.
Ответитьlove the spinning, thank you for sharing!
ОтветитьSo cool! I just bought this exact spindle at Rhinbeck last year. But I have yet to try spinning with it.
ОтветитьThanks for the refresher course Kristin. I have that same Schacht drop spindle and I just picked it back up again. And yes, please do a Turkish drop spindle tutorial.
ОтветитьI’m taking a drop spindle class next month at my local fiber festival. I can’t wait!
ОтветитьThank you! I enjoyed that. You have peaked my interest,! Hmmmm may have to actually try this!
ОтветитьReally enjoying your spinning videos. Between your videos and attending my first fiber festival, I have become intrigued to try spinning. I'd love more spinning videos! Thanks for enabling more crafting mojo with your channel!
ОтветитьI’d 💖 more spinning videos.
ОтветитьI love my Turkish spindles so much! You have inspired me to get one out and get busy spinning. Thank you!!
ОтветитьThank you for keeping this so simple and not over complicating it with info overload😊I would love to try spinning but have watched so many complicated videos it seemed so overwhelming. I think this helped so much, I am going to keep my eye out for a starter kit and give it a whirl😅
ОтветитьMakes me want to spin! Oh, the projects just keep stacking up.
ОтветитьThat was a great video Kristin! Thank you! My spindle is calling my name❤
ОтветитьThanks for the video. I'd love to know what you have made with your handspun yarn!
ОтветитьCan you show how to merge two or more yarns together? Thanks for the demo
ОтветитьI’ve always wanted to learn to spin but was always intimidated. You make it look so easy. ❤
ОтветитьYes please, more spinning videos, are you still using the Electric Eel Nano? I've got one and I like it but prefer the Ashford E-Spinner.
ОтветитьGreat demonstration and explanations. Have viewed many drop spindle videos and this has actually gotten through to my brain. Thanks
ОтветитьI would love more spinning videos. I’m a complete newbie!
ОтветитьThanks for the lesson! I've been very interested to see how it's done! It looks like fun!
