Okay yeah, this one of the harder topics for me to remember...
ОтветитьGREAT!!!!This is very helpful for a beginner like me and my client! Am a public school teacher at the same time a Sunday school teacher in a local church mission but still wanna involve in deaf peoples world to be able to win them to Christ too
ОтветитьI have a question, How do you separate 2 numbers, like 3 and 5 without it looking like 35, is there a pause to separate them or is there a another way, i'm just starting to learn and i don't know too much.
ОтветитьIt's 2 am and I am clocked in and at work while everyone else is sleeping. I'm trying to figure out how to communicate with wales via beatboxing. Knowing some ASL probably won't hurt my cause.
Thank You ❤
Thank you this video taught me immediately! But I'm confused on the difference between 9 and the Letter F do people sign them the same way?
Ответитьsorry but trying to find out what state your from, so I learn signs in my dialect for IL ty
Ответитьthis video is genius, i leaned some of the word signs (like hundred, all together; instead of have, some grammar) quite different then you teach them. it’s so interesting to see the small differences in asl grammar depending on where you learned. it’s such an intricate language that it has its on dialects. just like english accents from different places in the world. so freaking interesting.
ОтветитьI wonder why in the 20's you have to use your index and thumb instead of just your index and middle finger, but all good. I'm understanding! Numbers was a lot easier than I thought it was going to be.
ОтветитьThanks! Are you having a summer intensive?
ОтветитьThis is confusing me. I was told that when you do numbers 0-5 your palm faces outward and when a number is attached to a noun or object it faces inward. Is that not the case here?
ОтветитьI love how she explains the rules on most of them but I’m so confused about the 20s. Why do we sign 21, 23, 25 like that ? Why can’t it be the same way for how we do all the other numbers.
ОтветитьI know this is a lesson about numbers but why do you have to repeat “me” when saying your age ? “Me” age 35 “me” ?
ОтветитьWhat’s the difference between O & 0 or W & 6 or F & 9 ?
ОтветитьI see people in tiktok signing what they saying and now signing in asl grammer, is that normal?
ОтветитьWhat about when telling time?
ОтветитьSo the letter F and the number 9 are the same thing? I'm so confused😭
Ответитьспасибо за урок ASL
ОтветитьIs there a way to sign scientific notation (eg, 1.0*10^3)?
ОтветитьThis is great! Can you please do a video for the number of years? Like how would you sign 1960?
ОтветитьThis was really helpful! i've had a hard time with my numbers but I get it now!
Ответить" ASL sudoku puzzle book for kids "
I found this book on amazon and bought it for my son, and he love it!
i hate my pinky so much i can't sign 6 bc it won't go down
ОтветитьHow do you differentiate F and V from 2 and 9?
ОтветитьSo I work retail and there’s a new girl starting so I want to say pant sizes right so for 0-9 I have my palm facing her but for ex: 12 and 14 do I still have it flipped? In your video the top of the hand was facing the camera instead of the palm. Thanks!!!
ОтветитьNumbers are the biggest struggle for me currently but these videos are SO helpful! Thanks Meredith!
ОтветитьI just stumbled across this channel today; this is my second video to view. Great content, speaking from a pedagogical work space -- I just know I'll devour this channel's content eventually. I wasn't even looking to learn sign language.
One topic would excite me a lot to see a video on: Are there aspects of SL that bring ambiguity to the table that don't seem to exist in verbal language, or at least the indo-european tree? (Not that I'm any less interested in information regarding other language families, by any means!)
There is a hard at hearing girl in my school, and I'm up late tonight hoping to be able to learn some numbers, and conversation starters so I can talk to her. Wish me luck!😪😊
ОтветитьYou are an excellent teacher, I like that you explain how your hands should be, most of teachers don’t do that
ОтветитьGreat lesson
ОтветитьQuick question my friend is deaf so obviously I use sign language to communicate with her. Will she get confused with 0 and o when i’m signing or is there a difference?
ОтветитьDo you bounce three-digit numbers where all three numbers are the same (222, 555, 777, etc) as well?
ОтветитьHey, but you said in one of your earlier videos on the same topic that billion is just signed BILL
ОтветитьHow do we not confuse numbers with letters. Like the sign for "F" looks like the sign for "9", or the sign for "6" looks like the sign for "W" and sign for the letter "O" looks like the number "0"
ОтветитьI started watching your videos recently. I was wondering if it matters which hand you use ? (st upid question) but I’m interested in learning. Ex: Previous video I watched she did the “forget it” sign and she used her right hand. Im a lefty so I’ll be more likely to use always my left hand, wanted to know if that’ll be a different sign - meaning.
ОтветитьAwesome I am learning nicaraguan sign language, the way yuo said 3 here means 8, so nice sign language is so great.... thanks for the video...
ОтветитьThank you for this video! I’m relearning asl currently, and watching these videos really help refresh my memory. You’re such a good teacher!
ОтветитьThis was great!
ОтветитьInstagram call video
ОтветитьA lot of these numbers look exactly like the alphabet for finger spelling how do you distinguish
ОтветитьThat’s great video for the signers to learn the numbers! I’m sure that the signers are very happy about it! Excellent work, Meredith! 😊
Ответить💖👏👍😎
Ответить🤔
ОтветитьHow do we do non-natural numbers? For instance, -17, 3/5, 26.83, 4.3e27, 2+1i . I am working on a physics degree and would love to be able to sign the math conversations you my deaf classmates. On that note, a video talking about signing summations, equations, integrals, derivatives, partial differential equations, the Greek alphabet etc would much be appreciated.
ОтветитьI never knew MILLION could be signed by making a flat M. I appreciate this video, Meredith.
ОтветитьStill learning asl trying to go strong 😩🥲
Ответить🤍 thanks
