I am not a fan of all the dark scenes. Even with my curtains closed and not much lighting I still have a hard time seeing everything.

Whatever changed behind the scenes has made this season a banger. It feels kike Rafe isn't driving this anymore, and it's great.

I have gone and looked at the episode. I think episode 4 does have Merrit, (C), episode 6 E for effort. There rest why even bother?

I never realized the series was an emotional exploration of relationships that focuses only on dialogue... I thought it was an epic fantasy novel series with major battles and many different villains. This show is awful, what have we seen, 1 fade? And what on earth even happened at the end of episode 6? I really wish we had gotten a series based on the books instead of a brand new story with the same character names.

Spectacular episode! I couldn’t be happier with how they have captured Jordan’s story so well. Out of everything that I loved, it was the Tanchico scenes with Mat, Thom, Min, and Elayne that left me wanting to see more. So good!

Did Rand kill Sammal? I wasn't sure. Interesting that he came with some Shaido warriors. Not sure how I liked Faile 's story. Her mother a Darkfriend? Guess it's a way of ommiting the parents in the future.
Could there have been some sort of sound damper? Aviendha was the only Aiel to respond to the attack. Even afterwards, the sounds of the falling rocks should have aroused others besides Lan and Moraine.

Loved this eoisode! Padan Fain is the scariest person in the books imo, he scares me so, so much that I dread to read about him. I think he’s scary in the show too, but not scariest. I love getting to see Liandrin’s backstory! Of course she’d join Ishamael, the first person that was kind to her!
I’m looking forward to seeing all your upcoming interviews!

That scene with the little girl was so much more poignant than what was in the books. Yes, the scene in the books conveyed the loss felt by Rand, but it didn't really affect me. It was just some little girl. We didn't really know her. We got to know the one in the show and it hit that much harder in the end.

QUESTION for Isabella. When they were casting, did they purposely choose her based on Faile's description in the book that so matched her own or was it just choosing the best person regardless of similarities?

Are you going to do a book versus no book on the stuff that was going on here? I’ve never read the books, but I’m really curious to know if that’s the end of Egwain’s relationship with RAND? I mean, if there is no more relationship with him, I don’t see what the point was of building it up. He didn’t even try. He acted like he didn’t love her anymore. He blamed their break up on her and didn’t say that he didn’t live Lanfear. So it looks like by the scene that he did end up falling in love with the devil and that he no longer loves his true love and he doesn’t even feel enough love for Egwain to not blame her. I don’t see any coming back so I’m really curious what happens to them in the books.

We got off kind of lightly with Alsera - if it had been 100% book accurate, I think I'd need therapy. Padan Fain's whistle - the show has me well trained by now. I flinched and braced myself - I hate it, and love it because it's made me hate it. What a great episode.

"workers solidarity"!!1 😧
You're starting to sound like a subversive! A revolutionary! Dare I say it? a Communist!

Nah but for real this season is so good, I said after season 2 that if they kept up that trajectory, if they continued to improve that we were going to be in great shape.
Season 1 got renewed, and I really wanted it to, but season 1 had too many problems, if they hadn't had The Excuse that we all shared around that time that the show was probably in trouble. But it got renewed almost immediately. Season 2 was such an improvement it made sense that it was renewed so quickly then.
But we're not hearing anything yet on season 3 even though it's great and I'm sure the executives that want or need to see it have seen it, and we don't have that renewal yet. it's concerning 😕

You don't deserve an accurate visual representation of Robert Jordans masterpiece. You've capitulated to the corporate shadowspawn and allowed them to change the story, just like a Darkfriend.

Did anyone else notice the scene where Rand and Moiraine chat about the power, the backdrop looks a lot like the Cover Art for the Shadow Rising (the original cover by Darrell Sweet)? I loved that.

Also the Rand scene at the end was incredible. It was like watching the book come to life. Josha continues to crush it

For your Perrin/Faile interview, I'd wanna know what it's like for two actors working together that know they are going to be portraying a couple falling in love. What is that relationship like for them personally and how do they work to translate that to the screen?

So Perrin and Faile have serious chemistry, but as a tall woman I always notice serious size contrast (it seems the tall men should be saved for the tall women), and it looked like Faile had to hold her arms all the way above her head to reach Perrin's shoulders. What is the actual height difference?

I totally understand that TV can't do everything that the books do because of time constraints, and with fantasy the effects can't do the same things that words and our imagination can. But, I don't understand why they would make a globe (reminiscent of the chodan kal) a sa angeal call the Sarkarnen, the have Samael show up with a weapon that more closely resembles the actual Sarkarnen from the books. It's still great TV, best season yet, but it's like they are going out of their way to depart from the books as much as possible.

I reread and/or relisten to this series every year, a habit I’ve had since the 90s when I would reread it before each new release. I’m a big fan! I especially love how the show builds the relationships between the main characters. It does a much better job showing Rand and Egwene’s bond, and I feel more invested in their connection because of it. I LOVE this show!

in the books Men and women cannot see each other's weaves. Is it just me or does Egwene and Moirane always react to Rand when he starts to channel. Even when Rand and Moirane are sitting alone, he channels a small bit just around his hands, and you can see her react to what he is doing...
