Viridian Scopes and Rings

Let me say this most guns don't have a real preference on what she'll you shoot if it is maintenance and oiled properly there are some that do but not like people pretty I personally like a 150 soft point Winchester shell cheap shell to hunt white tail hog coyote out of 30.06 308 270 7mm mag 300 win mag or short mag

With ammo prices most don't shoot in dead on sight in meaning my ever shoot will hit a dime on every shoot unless the shooter pulls off or something like wind keeps it from hitting dead on a sharpie is great for dead on sight ins and bore sight helps a lot to get you at least on paper

I never did consider buying a 350 legend but after watching you shoot all the 350 legends with good results and the "Social Regressive" YT channel, I'm now in the process of building a 350 Legend upper for AR. Waiting on a slick side upper receiver yet, but I got my BCA barrel, STNGR handguard, gas block and tube. Going to use a Hiram scope mount which looks solid and I'm going to mount my Truglo fixed 4x scope with mill dot reticle. I can't wait to finish it and try it out at the range.

Those Veridian scopes seem to be nice optics. For me personally that scope being mounted that high would bother me. It's your setup though, so you do you if you are okay with it.

Didn’t know Viridian made scopes, I got one of their tactical light/camera for my carry piece and i love it.

Nice scope, I don't think I've ever paid more than $300 for a scope and have had no trouble taking deer out to 300 yds.👍👍

I’m thinking about getting a Ruger 10/22 that comes with a viridian eon 3-9x40 from academy. It even comes with a hard case. Seems like a nice enough scope, especially for a 22LR

May drive people nuts, but it worked lol. I'm gonna have to try that next time I sight a rifle in.

Most MOA SFP scopes are set to 1.047 inch per dot/hash division on the reticle at full magnification. If not, there is usually a indicator mark on the magnification lens that shows which magnification is 1 inch between dots/hashes. So if @ 100 yards, each dot is about an inch apart and each 1/8 moa click moves the reticle 1/8 in. You can measure the distance you are off with the scope. Looks to me that it's a 10 inch paper plate. If you are off 3-5/8 up and 3-3/8 left or 29/8thsU & 27/8thsL. I subtract a 1/8th click for every 26 on a 1/8 MOA for that extra 0.047 per inch that is usually negligible unless ya out 250 yards or more, or 26 clicks or more (it's the never 13 on a 1/4 thing but for 1/8). So I would go 28 and 27. (never 26 2x13) bad juju and greegree.

SFP 16x scope should also be 1in with 8x @ 50 yards & 4x @ 25 yards etc. It will be 2in with 16x @ 200 yards. FFP scopes it's always the same no matter the magnification ...1 in for MOA or 3.6 in for MIL

Some scopes have MIL dot reticles but MOA adjustments ... if so, those dots @ 100yards will be 3.6 inches apart not 1 inch. You still adjust the scope the same ... clicks / inch at 100yards. Ya just have to do some more math.


Ya just saved a round by knowing this for zeroing in a hunting scope ... or you can do it his way. Both work good enough for hunting out to 300yards. But ya never know when ya may need that one extra round ... just saying, that shit is starting to get expensive.

The scope needs to be mounted as close to the barrel as possible.
