Anyone watching this in 2022 (or maybe later) note, the ABP method of activation is no longer recommended. OTAA should be used instead.

I am using rpi to do my gateway but after all configuration with dragino pi hat. It shows "unknown" as status.

We have a large outdoor LoRa gateway at our college. I would like to set up a LoRa based Weather Station at the college for the students to use but I am unsure what the best way to go about it. Barometric pressure, Temperature and humidity seem to be reasonably simple to set up, but Rain fall, Wind direction and Wind speed I could do with some suggestions to help. I am assuming once on The Things Network Server I can download them to our own database for storage and manipulation. Thank you for all the great videos, they are very helpful
