fuck this scripted ass event, the patches weren't even live during this video. Her staff got nerfed by 25% and dual casting was disabled for worlds!!!!

Realistically Neloth probably should have fought Savos and won, but that staff is just too good. A little ironic too, given that Neloth makes staves.

Using a staff is cheating!

Ildari having a staff made a huge difference. Lightning magic does damage to the opponent's Magicka pool, so her having a staff meant that even with 0 Magicka remaining, she could still fight so long as the staff had charge. It doesn't help that the stuff a lightning one, too!

if these showed all three stats they would be perfection, 99/100 though. This makes me wish this was the optional 2 player mode so you and your siblings could fight each others saves for supremacy.

So in the end the apprentice beat the master huh. Wasn’t expecting that outcome. Was hoping savos could beat Ildari so he could prove Neloth wrong. Not that Savos would want to be Neloth’s apprentice though.

Any mage battle with same level, the one who carries lightning magic will always win, BURN THAT MANA

This is format is amazing but I would have really loved to see at least a handful of strong Mages represented to make this tournament more telling.

You could have at least made it twice as big with Mages just as strong as the competitors.
Where is the Endboss from Peryte for example which is known as the strongest Mage thrall in the game.
Or what about Archpyromancer etc (you included Thalmor Wizard so also unnamed enemies?). Or Wyndelion (or whatever his name was). There are so many. Even when you only take the Named actual Characters alone.

There are like 20 Mage enemies on this lvl and some more memorable than many of the ones used here.

A real large scale tournament like this with truely most or all Top lvl Mage Npcs to truely determine the strongest one in the game would have been an absolute bliss. There was so much potential here.

Imagine seeing a Tournament of all Memorable Mage Characters in the Game. Ohhghgg that would have been so amazing 😢

Look, the ONLY reason Ildari won that is cuz of her bs staff. In a war against wizards, shock magic is king. Take away her staff, and Im damn near positive she would have lost.

Interesting that the developers would make Ildari a higher level than Neloth. Lore-wise he would obliterate all of these guys. Even with the heartstone in her chest she admits that she would need a massive army of ash spawn to take him.

Well i expected the results the moment i saw that she has the staff,in mage battles(i almost always play a mage myself and i roleplay by doing it exactly like this video instead of using tricks) its more a battle between magicka pools rather than health and skills and staves completely turn the table because they dont hse magicka,not to mention the staff she uses is lightning based. If she didnt have the staff i think savos aren could easily win that fight because of fire weakness and he uses incinerate

Do they stop attacking because they run out of magika? Because if so Ilardi had an unfair advantage due to the staff and all.
