The problem is i still cant ollie after 2 years
ОтветитьWhat if a guy can do kickflips but cant ollie
ОтветитьThat is my problem with heel/kickflips
Ответить"Kick out, not down". It's a kickflip, not a late flip.
Ответитьwait this guy has been skating for 10 years and he can ollie and turn 720 degrees... wow
ОтветитьHi I'm
ОтветитьAaron Kyro didn't give up.
ОтветитьAm I the only one who didn't have trouble learning the basic tricks? I learned how to Ollie In one day, shove it took me 2-3 days, kick flip took about 2 Days, Both FS and BS 180 took me 3 days, Heel flips took a week, varial kick flip took a week, BS shove it took me a week... (I'm not consistent with this trick, but I can land it) Varial heel flip also took a week (not consistent either). Big spin took a day, 360 shove it took a day, treflip took a day. I can do all these trick fakie as well. As for nollie I can only do shove it and heel flip and the same goes for switch. my best trick is a fakie big spin flip... I'm really good at flat ground, but I never got to do big gaps or stair.. never learned... the only grind I know how to do is a 50,50 and board slide...
ОтветитьHe's beautiful
ОтветитьFinally!! I found the video that I’ve being looking for for ages!
Ответить"I don't have much time left.. I am a sophomore in high school." The kid says it like he is gonna fucking die soon. Be patient and have fun when learning new tricks and don't rush it.
ОтветитьSomething that helped me a lot and that I did not read in any tutorial was to strengthen the muscles of the ankle with an elastic band. I do routines similar to those that kinesiologists do to recover sprains only more intense, with a black elastic band. With that, the front leg strives almost nothing to flip the board. 100% recommended
Ответитьninja kick it dude
Ответитьi had this exact problem when i was younger, for some reason i decided to start learning varial flips one day and managed to actually land them, i tried a kickflip again the same day and voila
ОтветитьThank you so much Aaron for making this video after 4 years of skating I landed my first kickflip I've watched this video when it first came out and when I watched closely at the part where you started suggesting certain tips and I finally figured out my problem from the video, thanks so much and keep making videos this video prevented me from quitting skateboarding, you rock.
Ответитьits actually a late flip
ОтветитьTry to learn it switch. It's like a reset button, but not quite.
ОтветитьYou do better than me, I can't do a kick flip, because it does a kick flip and half of a pop shove it
ОтветитьI landed my first kickflip after me and my uncle go to this Druglords (Yeah legit druglord) house in the Philippines, there's like a pile of cash, guns, drugs and some body guard with heavy firearms. After that experience i feel like im a brave man and that's the reason i landed my kickflip. I feel like im part of some narcos gang and that make me feel masculate.
ОтветитьI remember I was like this for nearly 3 months I can kick flip now but aren't to consistent
Ответитьu flick down because u are too scared to fall down or land primo
Ответитьhe's like a young Jim carrey
ОтветитьWas there a followup ? Did he nail it ?
ОтветитьWhere’s the follow up?
ОтветитьThe same with me but with my back foot
ОтветитьI learned the kickflip in 30 minutes
ОтветитьI have the same problem with my ollie. Wrong muscle memory is the reason why I can't ollie after 1 year. I quit skateboarding for like 8 months. And now with a new setup I'm gonna star it all over again
ОтветитьI had the same problem... the only way for me to break muscle memory was to stop trying them for a year or more so you pretty much come back and have to relearn to flip
ОтветитьBend you're ankle to flip it, you made you're ankle stiff like an L you need to bend and then flick and don't flip it late try to just do a Ollie with a flick.
ОтветитьMaybe don't hold that thingy jib.
Speaking of muscle memory.. I've been forcing myself to push regular since Aaron made me feel like such a spaz for pushing mongo.
He’s flicking down and not a out flicking motion.
ОтветитьIs knowing how to do a kickflip, pop shuv fs, bs 180, fakie fs, bs , fakie pop shuv, no comply 180 in motion all in the span of 3 months fast progression
P.S I i spent a whole entire week riding everywhere i went and trying to ollie on and off curbs once i got the hang of ollies. I calculated and the total distance i covered was around 14-15 km that week
I'm 30 been skating since 1999 and I'm in the same Boat.
ОтветитьExact same problemmmm i can only do it while holding
Ответитьwait he’s in the same exact position i’m in except i’ve been trying it for 2 months
Ответитьim in the same position. sophomore too. heading out now to try this technique lets hope today is the day
Ответитьnow he is 20 he's pretty much can do any tricks down now
ОтветитьJezus C 2 jears
ОтветитьHe is not flicking his foot
ОтветитьI actually watched a video and you progress faster doing the tricks you want to do
ОтветитьSeems like the niba is giving a death threats to Braille skateboar, just to learn ollie lol
ОтветитьLord help this is so perfect
ОтветитьI feel like kick flips are easier than heels should I still learn heels first
ОтветитьI think you helped me bud. I quit at 17 I’m trying to re learn at 27 and the muscle memory is gone. I totally forgot I could hold onto something
Ответитьlol I literally have the same problem as this kid. Except i started when i was 8 and am now 15 almost 16. this is with my ollie and shuvits. I can even land shuvits just my heels touch the ground or i land on my nose. Wish me luck guys
ОтветитьTrue story, back in the 90s when I taught myself to kickflip (because there was no other way to learn) I kicked down with the front foot and still landed kickflips and heelflip. It isn't "correct" but it can be done. The real problem I think is almost always fear and not committing. You can learn to do these tricks a lot of different ways but if you put your foot on the ground and not the board... well, you know.
ОтветитьThis is an old video, but it actually does look like he's flicking down even though he's saying he's not.
ОтветитьI had that problem until I stopped popping so high
Ответитьwow kid youre the man
Ответитьrepetition in skateboarding is pivotal. it doesnt matter how long it takes. what matters is that you do whatever trick over and over again until you can practically do it on your sleep.
