Trying to do this on an external HD, but I wanted to remove the "primary partition",
which apparently you are NOT allowed to do. I get an error message:
"You can not remove the first volume on the disk."
So I am copying everything from the second to the first partition and THEN I will remove the second. However in my case this will take 4 hours...

How do you delete the partition on Sierra 10.12.6. ?

After updating to Catalina , it have created "Macintosh HD" & "Macintosh HD - Data" named partition. Can you help me to identify & remove unwanted partition from these ones??

I have a dual boot partition. Before the partition it was running only 10.8.5. The added partition runs 10.11.6. Can I erase 10.8.5 and reclaim the partition to use only 10.11.6? Thank you.
