I played Speedrun with my friend but he took all my tools after I died 💀

It been 2hr and I still haven’t found a lava pool

i may use beds in the game just to kill the ender dragon

IMPORTANT: guys if y'all want to learn speedrunning then watch a newer video than this one after watching this one. Because so many of the strats on the video are outdated for faster times and are way more RNG based than nowadays. Plus there's some misinformation because back then people didn't consider some of the important details. Eg. Savannah, Desert and Plains are not the only good types of villages. The best village is actually Taiga village but you have know what you are doing to run Taiga villages optimally.

Villages are good for beginners but for speed Buried Treasure and/or shipwrecks strats are better but can be more difficult.

There so much more information to know that is impossible to write in a comment, for this, you should watch newer videos and my biggest tip that i can give is - watch top speedrunners runs. I recommend Doogile, Feinberg, Silverr and k4yfour. They tend to talk more about their thought process while running so that's good.

Watch rekrap1's and k4yfour's guides but actually detailed and relevant. Really beginner friendly.

Random tip to find lava: keep any maps you find via shipwreck/village on hand. If there is a lava pool nearby, it will show up on the map before you’d be able to see it yourself
Hyper casual here but can’t hurt

Tip:
if you're struggling to find a lava source try digging down and turn subtitles on so that you can see the words "lava flowing" when lava is nearby this trick has helped me many times

You didnt exactly explain what enabling hitboxes during the one cycle does, and I shall explain it. Turning on hitboxes will allow you to see the dragon’s hitbox of various part. Be sure to focus on the green boxes, especially the one that has a smaller green box in it. As both boxes are just right above the bed, explode it for maximum damage. Time it carefully and dont let the dragon perch down too much as the dragon will break your bed and you wont be able to place it again, as the dragon has perched too low, ruining your run.

If you want to spawn in a villiage choose a desert village as there will often be a desert temple nearby the only downside is there will be no wood nearby

I always spawn in villiages but guess what none fi them EVER have a blacksmith

I do everything right I know how to speedrun but seriously it takes 40 worlds to find a lava pool that doesnt take me more time than 10 Mins

the problem about 1 cycling is, the dragon is very smart. (when i placed a bed, dragon quickly destroys my bed before i had a change to explode it because the dragon knows i am gonna blow up the bed)
I cant 1-cycle because of that. Do you have any tips for that?
And also how to avoid piglin brutes? Do you have any tips for that? (They are just annoying gold armor doesnt work and giving him gold also doesnt work)
