The Minnelli Mansion - ABANDONED - Sad Hollywood Story

Very sad that this home has been abandoned I know there was stalemate b/t Liza and her stepmother who refused to move out even when Liza offered to pay for a new house or apartment (I think) So sad the house has been abandoned for quite a while might still be able to be saved, I am actually kind of surprised that "new" celebrity or a developer has not purchased the property.

Why would liza or any of the relatives leave a house abandoned.. like garbage... tear it down. Get rid of it. Let the forest grow. But on the other hand it could be used as a shelter for those who are lost.

A FOUNDATION/MUSEUM for the preservation of the historic and artistic heritage of Hollywood, like a registry of history, open to public visitation would be a grateful and honorable way to preserve the memory of these famous personalities, and it would also be a great and useful source of income from tourists from all over the world eager to know the mansions and details of the daily life of their favorite artists (if possible, preserved with the same utensils and tidiness as when their owners lived in their residences).

These mansions, studios, and theaters where so many renowned artists circulated who produced so many works and fantasies that entertained and inhabited the collective imagination remain a significant cultural heritage in the memory of the world history of the arts and show business.

Looks like any house would after it’s no longer lived in and cared for. A house needs life and care. Oh and $$)
