Just watched a vid from an auto lawyer who said you'd be insane to buy an RV right now. Sometimes they need repairs during the trip off the lot, and chances are you signed a waiver during the sale that says you can't return it.

Who is this guy? I suppose if you are living in Rhode Island, there is nowhere to park in the middle of nowhere.. but I live in the mountain west, we go everywhere with our RV. And by the way, our 42' diesel-pusher gets great gas mileage, about 12'ish mpg while towing my full-size pickup behind it, vs the full-size pickup only gets about 14 "towing itself" around town. Has the industry slowed down? Sure, 7.5% interest rates and years of bullish!t-laced job-growth reports will do that. Is it remotely true that no one is buying RVs? Absolutely not. Get out of the Rhode Island bubble.. And by the way, they require maintenance to own.. it's not for a dumb@ss that can't figure out how a paintbrush works.. and for the towables, the trailer tires actually only last about 2 years - those need to be replaced all the time, not just because it shipped with cheap ones. (That's why some of us buy bus-chassis motorhomes... tires last 10 years), and the Cat diesel is a beast.

All manufacturers have to have them stacked in the lot so they can go to dealers. Them sitting in fields has nothing to do with sales

How can I qualify to get a Class A rv cheap. Husband is tearing me down. Please help. I need a home for my little Morkie and I. I can park it somewhere with city water, sewer. I have never begged but I need help. Small Class A or class C

Between the high cost of the RV units, the price of fuel, the price of maintenance/storage, the price of camp parks per night, and just the TERRIBLE BUILD QUALITY in new RV's---it's amazing they sell any of them. You better LIKE IT A LOT and have a fat wallet.

I personally don't know about the sales aspect, but I used to deliver RV's throughout the country and Canada, the RV lots for pickup were always full. As soon as you took one out to deliver it, a freshly built one was taking its place and waiting for a delivery order.

Quality... whole heartedly agree with you; they use to make RV's to last (integrity) but now a days, no one cares and they are basically consumables.

Well I bought one and I plan to live in it because I can't afford to live on my retirement Scotty, so there are people buying them. There are places you can park, and it doesn't cost you any money. Scotty, so you should really get your information straight. And you really know nothing about national parks, Scotty. Maybe you should read a book. I love guys like you.
