Bugger me ! This would have to be the most informative / educational video I have ever seen on fox whistles.
You have answered about thirty of my question in one hit ! I thank-you for your diligence and generosity Sir.
Now, I have just one other question for you ......... Why in Gods name, is the "distressed woodpecker" call, the most effective year round sound on my Foxpro, here in Australia ? Cheers.
So, which one could be heard from the furthest away, if that it a good point.
Ответитьdid the whistle get got?
ОтветитьI was impressed that you had taken the time to go through all these callers available, the information that was collected via research and electronic equipment was very informative and helpful in the decision making process of which caller to select to gain best result. Thank you and look forward to see your successes using selected callers
Ответитьgreat video what an eye opener cheers
ОтветитьVery impressing, nice job. Thank you from Denmark.
ОтветитьThe only issue I have is that some of these whistles are not meant to sound like rabbits, but have been based off them. Also whistling in areas without rabbits with some of these whistles still brings in foxes. So maybe it doesn't need to sound like a rabbit. Great video though. Watched this one a few times
ОтветитьMany thanks for your expertise and experience with foxes.
Ответитьit is really cool i love it
ОтветитьOutstanding review mate, very comprehensive!
ОтветитьI found that the Silva whistle and the Apex whistle work best were I hunt and the Predator call. Also bird call's on my foxpro, I never had and luck with the Best Fox Call. Bird calls are really good for foxes
Ответитьgreat video, very informative well done
ОтветитьSome great calls. I have a few different calls for different situations . Here in Ireland we use reed for close up and hello type for longer ranges or windy nights.
Ответитьfantastic video mate. extremely thorough and informative
Ответитьwhat are the scotch callers like ?
ОтветитьI can't find the Bourke whistles for sale and was thinking of making one. How big is the hole?
Love the channel.
Where can i get 1 of those whistles??
ОтветитьGreat informative whistle thanks for making the time to make it appreciated.
ОтветитьI have tried a reed whistle in the past but they all sound like a sick duck .
Ответитьso now I use a $2.00 dog whistle that has a thread to adjust the pitch. once you get the pitch right foxes come running. best $2 bucks I ever spent.
Ответитьgreat review I really wanted the Bombala to come out on top bugger
Ответитьcan u do a video on the reed calling? I bought a gufo fox whistle from nsw similar to the best original fox call reed whistle you have...They said its the best one to use in aus.
Ответитьthank you so much for this awesome video

ОтветитьWell done mate, another fantastic video
ОтветитьSubbed
ОтветитьBeen having this argument with Australian a lot lately
Do you guys even know why are you protecting your Marsupial population ? They are less evolve than Placental they should have disappear long time ago if basic house cat are able to be a treat for your marsupial population they should disappear. I live near a wood my family been releasing cat in the wild since my grand grand father got the land. There a huge mustelidea population that live in our wood so that never been a problem. But you guys get giant problem just by releasing house cat in the wild.
You guys say its the law but its does not make it right. 100 years ago i could beat my wife to near death and that was ok by the law.
Excellent demonstration on all the fox whistles.
ОтветитьExcellent vid. and being an amateur radio operator DB gain is a wonder;s thing. The secret for a shooter whistling is that he doesnt become breathless, as heavy breathing effects accuracy, Enjoyed your vid immensely. Well Pete
ОтветитьNone of the whistles compare to a jam tin lid bent like the above but with a 2 " nail hole punched through. Somehow the jagged edges of the nail hole really imitate the rabbit squeal. I think it's the rough edges. Drilling the holes loses that effect.
ОтветитьThanks for doing that list.
ОтветитьAnyone know if the Bourke Whistle has a hole in both sides or just one? can't find a good description of them anywhere.
ОтветитьNew to hunting foxes in Aus and wasn't sure which whistle to buy. This video has helped heaps! Thanks for the more scientific explanations!
ОтветитьVery informative, thank you
ОтветитьIm in with a chance then
ОтветитьGreat video. Southerland's store had the primos call on sale.
ОтветитьDo you have a video of how you made the pipe whistle?
ОтветитьThank you. You have shared some great videos including this one. Best wishes from New Zealand.
ОтветитьGreat video, thanks for showing all these calls together. Very informative.
ОтветитьThe primos one you can make louder and more high pitch by taking aprrt the 2 green half's and moving the band
ОтветитьSuper vid chief, balanced and informative. Outstanding
ОтветитьWhere’s the diaphragm type
ОтветитьGreat work man. Thank you.
