The drawing at the end! 🤣
ОтветитьI met a fighter pilot a few years ago and he said going through school to be able to fly his jet and I quote from the pilot “I learned enough aerodynamics to be dangerous” 🤣
ОтветитьToday I learned that my drag coefficient lowered when I am naked and hard
Ответитьred
ОтветитьI love the fact that it is just pure educational content
It's well explained, there are a lot of things to learn, it's not boring, I didn't know the channel neither this particular subject but I stayed the whole video
Subscribed because of the wing joke
Ответить21-19=2
Which is aparently an increase of 3 inches in a tesla.
Engineer, you are definitely not.
Matt should research the work of Adrian Newey, the F1 aerodynamicist for persons with confidence in the field.
Ответитьomg the final drawing is the best
ОтветитьYour drawing shows that nature knows the answer to everything.. The transition from aerodynamics to bio mechanics is incrementally subtle..
ОтветитьMarking the areas of turbulence/drag with "toddler and kermit" did not go unappreciated! 😄
ОтветитьTTTTToT! Rolls off the tongue !
Ответитьyeah. fluid dynamics are weird
ОтветитьMatt, is it the increased wheel diameter that ruins aero, or is it the increased diameter (OD) of the tire? (or is it possibly because the rotating mass of the wheels is further from the hub that the tesla range goes down?) or both??? serious question. I am now regretting some of my wheel & tire choices...
ОтветитьGreat tires and horsepower
ОтветитьSuperfastMatt do you feel confident enough, to "dissert" over motorcycles aerodynamics?
Thanks
best pun ever
didnt see that wing it coming
power makes a fast car. Power can compensate for all other factors given an ample enough supply. The same can not be said for any other factor including aerodynamics
ОтветитьOn the topic of airflow friction.....has anyone tried drilling a bunch of holes in the skin with another layer spaced behind it making a narrow but long dead space, basically a long tube squished to the inside geometry of the skin, and venting that into the intake of the motor? The idea being the engine intake would suck the boundary layer off the skin, assumedly, making it more slippery through the air at speed (supposing the flow rate were high enough....probably be more feasible on a big engine than a motorcycle engine....possibly a separate turbo specifically for sucking air off the skin and outputting it behind the vehicle to 'refill' the low pressure bubble directly behind the body.....(supposing such a system would be beneficial at all)). I know they researched this with planes a while back, but Im guessing there were reasons they didnt integrate it into modern designs.....
Ответитьcylinder has more drag than cube
ОтветитьBut Enzo Ferrari said aerodynamics is for people who can't build engines
ОтветитьModeratelyFastMatt.
ОтветитьEnds it by drawing a penis with balls and hair
ОтветитьAll hail the algorithm!
Thanks Matt. Great vid
Informative and hilarious! absolutely brilliant 👌
ОтветитьYour style of speech has given me a headache. goodbye.
Ответитьwhat is drag
ОтветитьI would love for you to review the Apteras aerodynamics
ОтветитьThis video is remarkably good! Thx!
ОтветитьStupid.
It‘s a capable driver.
🤥
I love the final drawing of a dick, thank you 🤣
ОтветитьQ
ОтветитьThe car of the end is a typical circumcised one. May be more streamlined....
ОтветитьAre there any rules against just kinda ditching the weights once you get up to speed? or would that be doing the opposite of what it's trying to accomplish and i'm just a doofis? Many questions several answers, what even is a science?
Ответитьdimples? man you just leave that car out on a day it hails, free aero.
ОтветитьI guess engineers at Bugatti were just big mythbusters fans... 🤷🏽♂️
ОтветитьI always think of the Railton special, the 1938 LSR car, as being a great archetype for a low drag design.
ОтветитьThe assault of dad jokes is the best part of this channel.
ОтветитьThe transition from aerodynamics to bio mechanics is incrementally subtle.. You are seriously gifted for presenting complicated concepts, understandably while entertaining..
ОтветитьWhat makes a fast car?, people.
ОтветитьHow do them salt flat people get funding for all that? Sponsors? I don’t exactly see a huge crowd of people to advertise to. Seems like a giant money pit.
