But also, it teaches a good lesson about choices. As an insecur person, this was very interesting

Keep in mind that during the "Zending" ending, the Narrator really wasn't concerned for Stanley at all. He wasn't trying to keep Stanley safe. He was afraid things would go wrong for HIM. He was trying to keep Stanley away from the stairs for his own sake, not for Stanley's. He's a self absorbed asshole who only cares about his own wants and needs. I feel like more people need to consider this.

the narrator sounds so similar to the narrator in little misfortune, legit questioning if it the same person 😭

“this is the story of a man named Stanley, Stanley worked as an employee in a big building where he was number 427. employee number 427’s job was simple; he sat down at his desk in office 427 and pressed keys on his keyboard. directions came to him through a monitor on his desk telling him what buttons to push, how long to push them, and in what order. this is what employee number 427 did every day if every month of every year. and although others may find it soul-bending Stanley relished every moment that the orders came in, as though he had been made exactly for this job. and Stanley was happy. and then one day something very peculiar happened, something that would forever change Stanley, something he would never quite forget. he had been sitting at his desk for over an hour without on single order to follow, no one had ever shown up to give him instructions, call a meeting, or even say hi. never in all his years at the company had this happened, this complete isolation. something was very clearly wrong, shocked and frozen solid, Stanley found himself unable to move for the longest time. but as he came to his whits and regained his senses he got up from his desk and got out of his office.”

I love this play through but the most annoying thing I have ever heard is that goddamn crying baby and that goddamn loud ass button noise, the narrator could’ve at least created it so we could hear him properly lol
