I don't mention undercoating miniatures in this video because it is aimed at people who just want to try painting a miniature. Undercoating adds extra cost and complication that isn't really needed for 2 miniatures. if you decided you want to get serious painting miniatures then I do recommend undercoating your miniatures first. I cover undercoating miniatures in some of my other tutorials on the channel if you want to know a bit more. I won't be answering the question "why don't you undercoat these miniatures" sorry I've answered it so many times now haha. thank you for checking out this video, watch my beginner ultramarine and Necrons videos as they are kind of a follow up to this video. Thank you
Ответитьyou sir get a like
ОтветитьIncredible video, thank you
Ответитьthank you this really helped me start!
ОтветитьVery nice tutorial
ОтветитьIt's been 30 years since I enjoyed painting Warhammer as a kid. And now I get to enjoy it all over again as my little lad gets stuck into it. This video has been inspirational to us both. Absolutely amazing. Thank you for helping me back into this world of Warhammer.
ОтветитьAs someone who’s keen to get into this I found this video to be the tipping point. Thank you for amazing free content!
Ответитьthanks I've been using this to teach a friend how to paint like a normal human being, very helpful bebygirl <3
ОтветитьDont forget after each painting to drink the dish. Otherwise Gretta is going to transform into a Nurggle beast
ОтветитьNow i haven't started painting yet. But this has really helped to make it feel simpler. I have seen some good painted Minis in D&D as well as 40K and it always made me feel like as someone who isn't very artistically talented, it would be too much of a challenge. Thank you
ОтветитьI'm not new to the hobby, but was never confident in my painting abilities. Thats why I play Necrons. Warrior dry brush is mostly enough for them to be "passable". But your video gave me the confidence to try again .. just better this time. And maye I'll even buy some space marines for killteam.
ОтветитьGreat video, mine definitely don’t look this good. Shading and fine line work is where I’ll need practice the most.
ОтветитьCan anyone do me a solid and list all the essential paints I'll need for getting started? Just bought my first set and they are sat in the box until I've got every bit of kit I need to get started including all the tools and bits! I've held fire on getting into this hobby for years and am excited to dive in but only when I'm properly equipped. Thank you.
ОтветитьJust started this space marine mini as my first attempt. Its going great after following your instructions, have my like and follow
ОтветитьImma keep this stuff in mind
ОтветитьI wish I found this video before I made my first two models (The heavy Intercessors) but I will keep this video in mind for when I do get more models!
ОтветитьI was thinking about starting warhammer 40k but I know it’s kinda expensive and I’m not 100 percent I wanna do it should I do it ?
ОтветитьWatching this after I just painted my first goblins I messed up badly
ОтветитьAmazing thanks. This is a perfect tutorial for me and my son to follow.
ОтветитьThank you!! I just ordered my first painting kit and models and tools etc. they differ slightly from what you got but man I'm so hyped. I can't wait to try this out
ОтветитьOH GOD, HE USES BRITTISH TERMS.
ОтветитьAfter painting my first marine yesterday I just want to recommend one thing to others, keep your first one, never get rid of it. I knit/crochet and I regret not keeping my first pieces look back on and see how far I’ve progressed.
ОтветитьIm getting back into warhammer, thanks
ОтветитьExcellent tutorial. I wish I had seen this 20 years ago!
ОтветитьIt’s amazing
ОтветитьThank you for this. This may sound odd but I have a disability, and I’d like to have a go at painting miniatures because I want to paint my walking sticks. This has given me the confidence to try
ОтветитьAwesome video. I just started painting miniatures and this helped loads. Love your chilled attitude as well. Best advice is where you say take your time and do a model over a couple of days. You see things to improve on every time u have a break then come back. Your shading and highlighting advice is so good too 😀
ОтветитьWhat a brilliant video, really helpful
ОтветитьYou made want to get back into painting warhammer miniatures again. The last time I did this I was a teenager now I'm in my 40's and a bit rusty. Great videos.
ОтветитьYou convince me to buy my fist miniature
ОтветитьThe priming process
ОтветитьHi am a beginner
ОтветитьThis set is including the painting stuffs?Or I need to buy it separately?
ОтветитьI really liked how you explained how to paint the minis. Simple and fast. Great video 😁
ОтветитьIs it stupid idea to buy macragge blue in spray and use it as a first timer instead of paint provided with set??
ОтветитьAwesome tutorial!! The first that really helped me getting started. Thanks 🤙
ОтветитьTip: if you Want a Lense to look more like a lense Then use leadbelcher wait for it to dry and Then apply the corlor
ОтветитьOh man. I just picked up my starter kit today and I can’t wait for my next pay day to get the paints! I’m not an artistic person and I’m totally new to Warhammer, but I think I’m starting to see why people like this hobby so much.
ОтветитьThis helped an old man a hell of a lot, thank you!
Ответитьthank for the painting tutorial
Ответитьthanks to you i managed to pull off painting my leman russ!
ОтветитьThe basic paint set really is the most important for both beginners and intermediate painters. You can more or less paint everything with it.
ОтветитьThis was perfect. Exactly what I was looking for. I started painting my demo kit and I'm having a blast!
ОтветитьI’ve just started collecting again after 20 years. Looks like I’ll need some more brushes…
ОтветитьI've been a 40k lore and video game die hard fan for probably 12 years and as of an hour ago I decided to finally order a paintset and ultramine miniatures for the first time. Pretty excited.
ОтветитьHow do you paint that hard to reach area on the right side of his helmet near the bottom that you painted silver?
ОтветитьFantastic tutorial, I painted miniatures as a child and I'm introducing my son, we enjoyed watching your video together, thanks so much 😁
ОтветитьDo you guys assemble the whole figure before painting, or do you paint part by part then assemble? I tried 1) Assemble the figure then paint and there were some parts that is hard to reach and sometime my brush dab on areas that I don't intend to paint that color 2) I tried painting different parts first and end up the parts end up with different shades.
