You packed a lot in a very concise, easy to understand way, I’m subscribing!
ОтветитьThank you Mikey for another great video. I remember doing this as a kid, only we made our own looms by nailing nails into small pieces of wood or old spools. Dad would help with that part. We would take them to school and 'knit/weave' during recess. And gossip like old women 😂
ОтветитьNa
ОтветитьThank you for this video. I just got my hands on a rectangular one. I had no idea how to use one.
ОтветитьHow many pegs to use for a 6" wide scarf?
Ответитьa non label cricut can be found at most dollar stores. same thing but no label
ОтветитьThat was so informative! Thank you!!
ОтветитьYou can find a similar pick to the Cricut at Dollar Tree. I use the handle to store a couple of the plastic needles.
ОтветитьI loved round looms. But I have a rectangle one I loved using a couple days ago. Knitting a purse without moving the project to a round loom after the bottom…priceless. Too bad I don’t have many rectangular looms - I have an idea of making a sweater using a huge rectangular loom and 2 small round looms to hold the arm loops. Lol.
ОтветитьI would like to see you make something on a loop because I always wanted to do that but really don’t have any idea how to do it. I wonder if you can actually make an Afghan on the large one?
ОтветитьI'm a little late but yours is the easiest of the videos I can follow, so I'm gonna try my questions and hopefully someone is still around to help.
1. Why the two strands? Why not just single strand?
2. What is the range of yarn sizes I can use on the standard looms? You specified the sock loom is the finer yarns, but how small/big can you use on the regular looms? What about bulky weights?
3. Should delicate yarns be used on the looms at all? By delicate, I mean the kind that isn't twisted but rather one straight strand(like wool I guess?)
4. Can color pooling properly be done on a loom? In crochet it talks about changing tension with each color switch, obviously you can't change it that much on a loom.
Price?is looms available online in low prices?
ОтветитьVc tem vídeo no tear regulável de meia?
ОтветитьWhy don't you get something made and patented? That is ingenious using a pen!!👍🏼👍🏼
Ответитьpen great idea
ОтветитьGreeeat Video... Thanksss 👍💝👍
Ответитьgreat job. so easy to follow, and you answered my unwritten question :)
ОтветитьThats really interesting. I’ve just bought a sock loom, and my niece has a hat one, I find the hat one very unfriendly to my joints. Your information is very helpful. Thank you.
ОтветитьPLEASE get a tool like this styler pen patented!!
ОтветитьThanks for this tutorial. I always became unstuck with the winding around d the pegs, your nifty empty pen tool has changed the game for me. Even tried it on my sentro machine, it works! Thanks again.
ОтветитьWhere can I get the sock loom?
ОтветитьLove the pen concept!
ОтветитьThe pen casing idea is awesome. Million dollar idea, I’m surprised the company hasn’t thought it this.
Ответитьthat pen concept is mind blowing and i'm glad i found this video before i started trying at a sock
ОтветитьMy fingers cramps and hurts like crazy so I have to wait 2 to 3 days each time. Now that I can buy a tube for my yarn, thank you so much for sharing this. 😘😘😘😘😘USA.
ОтветитьYou're tool is genius. Thank you for sharing.
ОтветитьA+++!!!!
Greatest teaching video!
Thank you.
This little tool you invented is fantastic! Nevertheless, the "knitting" itself is still laborious. Much quicker to use regular knitting needles.
ОтветитьI have had looms for so long. I tried it one time and got aggravated with the tension. This is making me get them back out and make a blanket for my daughter 😊 thank you very much
Ответитьawesome tutorial. been curious about each of those looms. now i know the best one for me. and the pen tube is an awesome idea. think even my mom would try knitting again.
ОтветитьOmg that pen tube to feed the yarn is so ingenious, I've really been struggling with tension and I feel like you solved it spot on! Thank you for your in depth knowledge.
ОтветитьWith the flexee loom links you can make round looms, rectangulars or square ones and make whatever size you need, chunky 5/8 gauge, skinny 3/8 gauge and regular 1/2 gauge.
ОтветитьYou can also inhale through the tube and suck the yarn up - far easier than pushing it!
ОтветитьYou're so clever... The stylus design has done it for me! I definitely am going to have a go at this, thank you!
ОтветитьI did the pen tube deal and it’s great.
ОтветитьI love the tube thing you show. You need to patent this it works great!!!!!!!
ОтветитьHow much is a loom
ОтветитьBrilliant tool you invented.
I can see how that totally changes the tension, and also eliminates the strain on the hand and fingers.
Thank you for this tutorial.
I don't use looms but often wondered about them.
The rectangle is easier on my arthritis, and are relatively inexpensive...➰
ОтветитьI wish he would just do the demo while explaining ech one, because what he was rattling on with was rambling to quickly and hard to get exactly what he meant. I'll have to search someone else
ОтветитьI've ordered myself an adjustable loom knit loom set and I've tried to learn basics I even have tried your method and example it didn't do not bit of help my yarn keeps coming off the loom post pieces when I wrap my yarn in the pattern . Crocheting so much simple and easier to work with not to mention that my right hand twitches too much for me to be able to work with the loom...
ОтветитьHas anyone every told you that your videos are confusing?🤔
Ответитьgenius!!!!! Great tip about ''the Styler''!! I'm going to make one for when I loom knit!
ОтветитьHi I am a somewhat intermediate loom knitter but a total beginner to crochet. I can make a simple boarder around my finished loom knit work but not do any stand alone projects with crochet and I was wondering if there was a way to change the crochet stitches to ones done on the knitting loom? Even when i crochet the boarder for my loom knit work i find myself cheating and just grabbing the loops with my fingers and flipping them over the hook like it was a knitting loom peg. Lol then i just adjust the tension and work the next stitch. It seems to work ok but i think it’d be faster if i could somehow learn how to do the single, double, and half double crochet stitches on the knitting loom. Any advise would be totally appreciated. Sorry if this is a weird question i tried googling it and the only thing i could find slightly in common with my search was this video so I figured I’d ask here. Thank you for all your crochet tutorials. You were a big inspiration for me to learn even just a little crochet! :3
Ответитьthank you, great ideas and you are so kind to share it.
ОтветитьAND I STILL HAVE NO CLUE
ОтветитьPourquoi pas en français
ОтветитьI've been thinking about picking up this craft for a while. But I overthink and know that I've had issues with tension in other yarn/thread crafts. Your styler is a great idea. And I sure wish someone sold lap stands for the looms. That looked like a great idea.
