Great advice thanks !
ОтветитьLove the vid! Itemizing an estimate is a huge piece of advice. It can really make you standout. I don't recommend putting a price to each itemized item because then customers will try to nickel and dime you.
ОтветитьYou always give those fine details that everyone else overlooks, thanks Jonathan!
ОтветитьThanks for all the info. Quick ? Do you still use yoggi for your website? Do you do SEO?
ОтветитьFirst time commenting... Awesome content! Is there a reason you write the scope of the work as a comment on Yard Book instead of in the catalog description? Just curious. Thanks!
ОтветитьAre you still using yardbook? Do you invoice through yardbook or do you let the client pay other ways?
ОтветитьGreat content. I do this, too, but always can use someone else’s perspective. Thank you
ОтветитьI see you’re still using Yardbook. Have you done a recent video on what you like/dislike about it? I’m on the middle package and am pretty happy with it. Not in love with the app but it gets the job done for 3 crews.
ОтветитьYour professionalism shines and so does your work! Thanks for everything you do for this community! Your knowledge and experience are invaluable to those who are listening! CowboyCuts has been implementing your strategy to our New economy 🤠
ОтветитьWhenever you do get a client that exposes something you haven’t thought about be thankful as this will help you become a better business. Writing a good estimate template is real work as you want to keep the language simple yet detailed enough. Thanks for sharing!
ОтветитьThanks for the video brother
ОтветитьConstant communication, U are spot on!
ОтветитьWhat version of yardbook do you use?
ОтветитьSo valuable. I appreciate you brother
ОтветитьI love yard book it's freeeeee, you can grow a decent size company with it
ОтветитьDefine expectations in detail. Love it!
ОтветитьGreat video sir!
ОтветитьGreat points stated here. I was always told, “Get it in writing. If it isn’t written, it isn’t true.”
ОтветитьIs this saved in yardbook as a template somewhere or is it added for ea individual estimate
ОтветитьSuch a great video ! Keep all of these nuggets coming! My fav u tube vids
ОтветитьThanks
ОтветитьHey! I just quoted a customer, and was not detailed at all, so this is great basic, detailed information that is key for me to get my business off the ground. Thank you. I do lawns part time and am trying to grow my business. I will be watching you a lot more!
ОтветитьGold as usual.
ОтветитьMe: Shows up to property, looks it over for a few minutes. "I'll do it for $50 weekly, $65 bi-weekly." Done
ОтветитьHey do you find yourself having harder time selling a per cut price vs a flat monthly fee. I am down in southern FL.
ОтветитьHi Jonathan! Great topic video! Quick question for you. I see on your estimate you state this is for weekly or biweekly. In the past when I used to offer a biweekly service I would charge the customer a cut and a half. I no longer offer biweekly service only weekly. However due to summertime and drought the grass isn't growing or burnt out. My weekly customers will ask to skip a week or two. Me being nice I'll service them their same weekly estimate price. Shouldn't I be charging them a biweekly rate? I didn't put any of that information on their estimates this year but planning to do it next season. What are your thoughts? Thanks!
ОтветитьYou are the man… such an inspiration. I wish I could hire you for a week to fly up here and get me all squared away.
ОтветитьI just watched this video while washing dishes for the baby in an effort to stay productive and man this is amazing! Thank you so much for taking the time to articulate just how important it is to cover your *$$ and document everything. I just did a quote for a new customer yesterday and it got declined in favor of one who’s cheaper. Going forward I need to follow your advise and be way more specific. Thanks so much for teaching us!
