From the beginning to the end thanks for some great money saving tips to help me live better and less money. Thank you so much.
ОтветитьI've been doubling my mortgage payment almost every month since I've had it. My goal is to make my 30 year (lower interest) a 10 year and im closer to the end 5 years in than my friends thought possible. The tax savings on interest don't balance out with the long term interest savings. I feel that is a myth being pushed down our throats by financial institutions.
Ответитьeliminate as many single use products as possible. No paper plates. No paper napkins. No plastic cups. No paper towels. No plastic utensils. Use your standard plates, glasses, cups, forks, knives and spoons. Fabric napkins (or tea/kitchen towels). Save money and lighten the environment.
ОтветитьOne thing I don’t like that is a store brand is cottage cheese. My daughter and I only like Daisy brand. My husband bought us the store brand when Daisy wasn’t on sale. We tried to eat it but we told him he could eat because the Daisy brand just tastes the best. I use rewards for almost every where. I rarely go to a restaurant or store if I don’t get rewards of some kind from them. Plus I I scan my receipts on the Receipt Pal & Fetch apps. I’ve already received a few $50 gift cards from doing so and I’ve only been using receipt pal for about 4 years and Fetch for about one year.
ОтветитьWe got rid of $200 a month cable! We have antenna and watch local tv .
ОтветитьThe best idea is to first write down your take home pay and your total expenses…..As far as possible, try to avoid unwanted expenses……The shopping mall has a lot of items for buying, but, you must buy only those items which are most required for you……..Try to avoid expensive gambling….
ОтветитьMy best tip is don’t leave the house and don’t shop online 😂 but I love every tip. 13 is really great. The temptation is too great with those paper and online catalogs and sales. Number 18 is a good one to remember. Bring your water and a snack. 22 is super smart. I say cancel them all and then only turn one back on like you suggested.
So many great tips. I’ll be listening to this often just for the great reminders🤗
Actually, my husband hates to borrow anything. If it breaks or anything, he feels obligated to get them another one. It would be his job to get another one. He'll let others borrow things though.
ОтветитьTwice as less murdered the English teacher in me, but the point is excellent. Fast fashion makes our closet last waaaaaaaay shorter per piece.
ОтветитьThere is a dentist who says that toothpaste destroys the good bacteria with the bad bacteria in the mouth. He brushes without any toothpaste. Having hypothyrodism I find it helpful, as most toothpastes have fluroide, and the ones without SLS are so expensive.
ОтветитьLove cash or item! Great tip!
ОтветитьThank you Always !😊
Ответить❤
ОтветитьOur family only eats meat. Meat is more satiating and we wind up eating less.
ОтветитьKeeping your subscription info is such a good idea. I know I have subscriptions I've forgotten about, and I don't even know how to go about finding them to cancel them😢
ОтветитьMy favorite money saving tip is to use Blackout curtains.
Second favorite is to shop at Dollar Tree before all other retailers first. Oftentimes, I assumed that Dollar Tree wouldn't have what I needed and ended up paying more elsewhere. Now I start there first and frequently find what I need there for $1.25
Big difference between yummy food and healthy food. Non Gmo/Organic is going to cost more.
ОтветитьThank you the tips are very heplful
ОтветитьBuy men's disposable razors for men AND women. Same product, but the men's are usually cheaper
ОтветитьHappy Birthday Blessings! Thanks for all you do!
ОтветитьThanks for sharing Jennifer, I love hearing tips like these 👍😊
ОтветитьI have a tip that I "invented": Be curious about new trends and just observe them: how they come, how long they stay and how fast they are out of date. I just watch them go by like a truck or a bird: MySpace, SnapChat, mini discs, shoulder pads, bell pants,...
ОтветитьI’m late, but Banana Republic always has good after season sales. Usually 40% on top of items on sale.
ОтветитьThank you u are amazing❤
ОтветитьWhen those catalogs come in the mail instead of just throwing them away l call them to cancel them cause I don’t want to deal with something I don’t need
ОтветитьHappy Birthday Jennifer!!!!
ОтветитьLucky for the neighbour your husband didn't fall off the ladder. Some good tips though
ОтветитьI know this sounds over the top, but needed to get moving more for health reasons, we are raising a guide dog puppy. We’ve done this before and really enjoy it. No gym membership!
ОтветитьThis is my first time watching your videos but what I can already tell is that you are a great you tuber since you add a heart to every single comment! How amazing is that? You actually read them all and like them. Very impressive ❤
ОтветитьI stopped myself buying a small £4 cup of iced coffee at a cafe and went to a supermarket instead. £2 for a 1L bottle of iced coffee - winner! Lasts me days, not moments ❤
ОтветитьHappy Birthday 🎉
ОтветитьI have a friend who used to host dinners for his ex wife and he was a character, he said he would buy wine at aldi put it in a decanter and the folks his ex hosted never knew the difference of wether it cost 10$ or 80$ bucks he said he saved money in almost every aspect of shopping living by recycling removing and rethinking did he really need it ….
I have been doing that for awhile now and it’s made a big difference in our wallet and our priorities…
Happy 40th. You look like your 24… congratulations 🎉🎊🍾… now have you ever heard of Receipt Hog: supposedly you upload receipts and you get cash back ? I’m an older adult and am a bit skeptical… what’s your take on it…?
ОтветитьThis was really interesting -- and I have listened to many such 'frugal' advice videos. slowing down your driving also saves on gas! I would add: save trimmings of vegetables in a bag in the freezer and make your own veggie brother. I freeze mine in quart containers of 1/2 homemade and half store-bought.
ОтветитьI make cookie dough in advance and keep it in the freezer for when I need it!❤
ОтветитьThis was helpful, thank you❤
ОтветитьI put my liquid detergent in a pump bottle and use 2-4 pumps per load depending on how dirty the clothes are. Agitation is what actually cleans the clothes!!
ОтветитьHappy Birthday, girl! I am also turning 40 this year and so lucky to have made it this far - we all know each day is not to be taken for granted and I love this journey and appreciate it so much!
ОтветитьHang out with people who have less than you do and adjust to match what they are doing! It's not that hard... People tend to gravitate to more 'well off' friends and then feel like they have less and make themselves unhappy. You will undoubtedly have some more frugal friends and you can do things together that are cheap or free.
ОтветитьI recently started reviewing my shopping cart before checking out at the grocery store. I can usually find about $10 worth of items that I really don't need and can put back.
ОтветитьBuy your clothes second hand. Freeze the food you haven t eaten. Cook from scratch, don t buy processed food, bake your own bread ( no machine needed, bake 2 or 3 at a time in the oven). Don t bring your credit card when you window shop. If you want to buy something, delay the purchase for a few days.....
ОтветитьI meal prep so I ll have 2 meal that week tge rest hoes in the freezer cycle. Do I have a variety of lunches each day
ОтветитьUse up..... chapstick, on the heels of your feet.....or your dogs paws❤
ОтветитьI'm 48 and the only money I invest on skincare is a good sunscreen and that's it. No makeup, no nothing. Also, I would advise to check on holiday spending such as Thanksgiving, Christmas etc. I mean do we really need the feel to splurge so much on other people who dont even care about us really?
ОтветитьUnsubscribe from all kinds of retails. Impulse purchase always start from those deals sales from those promotion emails.
ОтветитьLove libraries! My Austin Library has a recycled book store where you can get books for $1-2. Was just there this week. Also, I found a book in excellent condition that I'll be gifting a friend for her birthday with something else I have.
ОтветитьI buy Trader Joe's brand on almost everything.
