How to Migrate a WordPress Site to a New Host in 2025 | 3 Easy Methods

Can you advise/add to these instruction how to copy a current Wordpress website on Hostinger to a different hosting company which has cpanel so that Wordpress may be installed. This site has different domain name and we want to put the copied site into a subdomain of that only not yet to the non-wordpress (all html) location.

Can we show preview the website from previous hosting after website migration to hostinger by hpanel?

And can we setup domain later, first we migrate site or develop our site and then we transfer domain to that website at hostinger?

There seems to be a step skipped in the first example. On the part that said select website where to migrate, you already had domains added in the drop down list. How did that happen?

Hostinger does not have phone assistance which sounds like no big deal until you wait 2 hours for a reply online chat like I did. My issue was I incorrectly entered the wrong email when opening the account, so I thought this would be a easy fix, nooooo. They claimed they had to do an account recovery that takes 2 days but they sent the form to the incorrect email address I had entered and the reason for the original contact. I would not recommend doing business with them if they can't address a simple problem as wrong email.

More than 48 hours later and I am yet to receive any confirmation email or further instructions...the live chat team is equally helpless. WTF??

I normally love your videos, but your method 1 is not quite the same experience I have had today. It gives me a temporary domain, that completes ok, but the actual site I want stays the same and registers as rejected still. I have found this so frustrating as this process used to be so simple. I don't know what Hostinger have changed but they should change it back! I've spoken to someone via chat and it hasn't helped. Then they referred me to this video and here I am 😞

I am having problems, I had problems with Hostinger accepting my wordpress password and log in so I decided to download manually my site, 7 gigs, But when I go to try and change any pages it says it is no longer available or something ? but I can still sign in on my old hosting site and wordpress and edit no problem temporarily bc I just change to hostinger and my older hosting account is not expired yet... Is there anyway I can try having hositnger migrate my site instead of the manual way I did it? I cannot see that option in the migration tools
