is it easy to carry

I have the gh5 it is a beast of a camera but I am going to sell it because it is not good at autofocus. I would recommend Sony a6000 series or a canon 70d,80d and the 90d and so on

if I could afford that camera I would get it but I got a canon t3i and that came with a kit lens two Battery chargers and everything you get in the box it was only used for one month I payed 250 for it I also got 3 lens for 90 bucks an i have the canon t2i I got for 150 body battery only I bought a charger and 3 battery's for that on it was my first DSLR I bought I just picked up a Tascam DR 40 sound recorder for 100 only used once

Love Levi's content. He was a huge influencer for me to go full panasonic micro 4/3. Had my doubts about the GH5 but his vlog series reminded me of its capabilities and how rock solid it really is.

I think investment in gh5 is future proof. I will buy one for sure very soon.

I just upgraded my Canon 60D to GH4 and autofocus is a pain! I have beauty channel and autofocus is a must for me! And I noticed that most of time GH4 doesn't focus at all or it takes quite some time! What is a great camera with amazing autofocus?!

If people want a good alternative to the gh5, you should get the Panasonic g7. ITs personally my favorite camera that I have rn. The G7 is basically a mini gh4. The autofocus is pretty good on the g7 and the 4k is also pretty good. I've heard it also has better light than a gh4. If you're wanting a good alternative, I would definitely look into the g7.

Question of the Day: No I do not plan to upgrade. I still have so much to learn and mistakes to make with my Sony DSLR and Canon Camcorder. If you wanted to talk to me about light kits, and digital audio recorders, then that is a different story.

My plan at this point is to make the G5 my next camera. Hopefully this year but if not then next year.

For now I will work with what I have. Nikon 1 J2, Sony AZ1 and my Samsung S7.

I am actually picking up the canon rebel t7i later today. I have been shooting my videos with my phones and was limited by the capacity of them. I wanted something with 4K but I have an old Canon Rebel XT and like the lenses I have so I stuck with Canon. I know they are reliable and even 11 years later I still take great shots with it.

Imagine a one perfect camera: A combo of GH5 and Sony A6500. All GH5 lacks is low light, amazing auto-focus.

when does the gh7 come out?

A6500/A6300 can be improved with a product like the new small-hd focus - the battery problem and screen issue situation would be almost solved - plus you get a headphone jack for roughly the same price as a GH5.
