The NHS is a brilliant concept that has got out of control. Expanding into mega hospital resorts is bring the NHS spending into overdrive. As an example I remember local Hospitals that were loccal and a lot smaller, run by the lead Consultant and Administrator. They hired, fired and purchased evrything becuaese they were hands on and at ground level. Thats what the NHS needs to be.

I'm also a nurse, In my carrier I also face the same situation, not in europian country in my mother country. Some times the job was very stress full. Most of the time I feels to run away from the job.

Why are so many nurses quitting the NHS in England? Because in it current guise it's not fit for purpose and they know it.

Today's generation of people do not want to work.
They prefer to stay at home collecting taxpayers' money instead.
At nursing homes and hospitals, the residents and patients face
shortages of staff. What a bunch of brats!

I hate generic drugs. All of us Americans should now return
to brand drugs.

This video was made 5 years ago and sadly things haven't changed....what a situation we're in now with the current crisis. I sincerely hope in another 5 years time politicians have transformed their perception of nursing to value it the way it should be.

England very bad as far as hospitals and doctors are concerned. They don't care that people are sick, if a person is sick, they immediately prescribe paracetamol instead of really checking what is wrong with the person, this society in England is very bad, there is a 5am wait for ambulances here, that's why I'm not surprised that a lot of people die here in England, not only the very old, but also children, because absolutely doctors and hospitals are not responsible for patients, they just don't care. Simply, if a person is old, then let him die. That's the way I see it, and that's the way my loved ones see it, that's it, England is terribly bad when it comes to the system here.

UK hired more Indian, Philippines nurse to pay the Lowest salary ,EU, British left the job every year,,NMC report 2021-22 30000 nurse left uk NHS job including India,British,EU, Philippines

After COVID-19 uk economy collapsed,Brexit etc
UK lack of healthcare staffing shortage, now work stressful, pressure on work place,no question under supervisor
International nurse were given Band 5 salary £23-26k £ annually

£34k to 40k is affordable in developed countries for International nurse...
Try Canada,NZ, Australia,US.... Earning $70000-80000 as per experience u had.
Your home country experience has no worth in UK...

NHS nurses are truly the unsung heroes of UK health system. I remain astounded what they have been through and nothing in reality has been done to support them. A payrise that is worthless with rising inflation and promises that are just words from our government. Shame on BJ and his cronies .

I can totally sympathise with her and I think people really need support that work in the NHS and other very stressful jobs. Even just people that will just listen to them and truely understand the emotions, issues helps.

I work in the NHS and I'm lucky that most of family members work in the NHS in different roles so, we can easily talk to each other when there's any stress, emotions etc going on. I find having people around me that truely understand, is very refreshing. Other people aren't so lucky.
There are alot of issues going on, but this would be a good start.

One glaring aspect of the NHS is that the salary of medical professionals including specialist doctors is not at par with the European Union or the US where they can easily earn 2 to 3 times more. So, this makes it difficult to attract talent from other countries.

Secondly, overworked professionals like nurses and other staff will try to get a job elsewhere with a matching salary and less stress.

Britain needs to take both, short-term and long-term measures to fix this issue and the starting point is pumping more money, retaining talent, attract more talent from other countries.

As long-term measures, Britain can tie up with autonomous medical universities in India, Hungary, Czechia, Lithuania, Latvia to ensure a steady supply of medical professionals into the NHS system.

The danger is the NHS are a joke they are under educated, useless, uncaring and above all else always have an excuse. I know some many that have been neglected through the NHS many friends and more family including myself. My auntie died from stomach cancer after being told countless times for several months it was ibs by the time she was diagnosed she was given six months there findings were she could have been saved! My cousin has been battling cancer for three years after over a year of doctors and A&E refusing to believe she had anything more than constipation! She lost three stone before our eyes was walking around like a skeleton until finally somebody did something her best bet is three years providing it doesn’t come again more aggressive than it already has. She has a 5 year old daughter. Minor injuries a friend of mine hasn’t worked in 6 years due a badly injured hip they told it would never recover he needs a hip replacement he barely gets about on crunches 6 years and counting.. a work colleague has been waiting to be seen from a referral for nearly three years. Myself herniated disc L/4 L/5 S/1 after after 6 months of physio no improvement can’t stand straight can’t put weight on my left leg told it needs operating on to decompress the nerve 3 years later 7 trips to A&E I’m still waiting mortgage and house went down the pan and I filmed the shit I saw nurses doing at Stoke mandeville hospital that place would be shut down. NHS are a joke from top to bottom I no I never clapped once because they don’t damn well deserved it. That 3% pay rise they was 3% to high!

I COMPLETELY believe every word of her story. Yet, cynically, the young lady and the manner in which she is being portrayed, almost reeks of a blessed young lady who found it too hard. With the home, garden and land etc. If they said she had to move in with family or a time lapse had applied that would have sufficed. To make her seem aloft within her real and reasoned complaint , like some modern 'cat lady' is wrong. Plain wrong.

NHS bosses (who are they name and shame these people) every one fo them and their salaries) claim nurses are their greatest assest according to RCN - but treated like a 1% per cent low class assest as Boris Johnson and his leckies have shown) pay cuts after decades- sack these Eton cretins get shot of NHS ''bosses milking the system and hiding bad care) and refusing people heir right to treatments.
