The kickback stop supplied with the Festool TS 75 saw will not sit down in the Powertec track guide due to an extra metal shoulder on upright part of the channel. Is this a known problem or is there a solution to this? Because it's a safety concern (saw kick can back when plunge cutting) I cannot make a plunge cut using the Powertec guide rail. Very disappointed!
ОтветитьDo you have to have a sacrificial piece of wood in order to cut the zero clearance plastic trim? Or can you just run the saw down the track without it to cut to size?
ОтветитьWhat’s up with people recommending Powertech guides? I haven’t found one video comparing Wen vrs Powertech guides so why is everyone on the same bandwagon with no explanation? Wen track reviews are very high. Powertech track reviews are very low. So what gives? Does anyone know why everyone is touting Powertech with zero information to back up their claims?
Wen & Powertech guides look virtually identical to me. If you go to Amazon you’ll see very negative reviews for Powertech guides. Reviewers show the taped on parts falling off. Not so with the Wen tracks. It’s curious why Wen is being dissed and Powertech being pumped. The Powertech is $48 more for a piece of aluminum and a few strips of tape. Why are people justifying that much extra cost?
Do you have plans to produce tracks that work with the Milwaukee tilt lock? My understanding is that it's just a little different and won't engage with the Makita version
Ответить @POWERTEC USA Can I use your rail to extend my OEM Makita track?
ОтветитьDoes it work with the Kreg plunge saw?
ОтветитьIs it long enough to FULLY support saw on each side of a 48” crosscut on a sheet of plywood? I know the Dewalt factory short track is 59” long, is why I ask.
ОтветитьI may give you for free one 4 ft "Parallel Guided Power Saw" Look at it.
ОтветитьThat doesn't look like a bosch track at all.
